Eph 4:3 “Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”
Unity requires effort and we do not have a surplus of either effort or unity. As you make your plans for the New Year, let me encourage you to plan on attending the Minister’s Meeting. Yes, it will take effort and yes, it will cost and yes, you may not get anything done at home for a week, but I’m sure that God will bless you for Endeavouring.
Plans are being made and I am praying for the Lord’s presence in a mighty way. I look forward to your fellowship. Editor.

HISTORY OF THE MOTHER CHURCH 279 OBOHIA ROAD, ABA, ABIA STATE, NIGERIA
In 1974 we came to Aba where we stayed with a Brother for some time. We rented a building for some number of years at another location. We had a vision to carry the work of God to every place. In 1979 we started up in fine order.
In 1984 some that did not believe in absolute holiness separated from us. We prayed and fasted and God revealed to me that there was a member that would give us a land for he had promised God that he would do that.
The church was registered in 1987. God provided us with money and we purchased additional land. We went to the bush and fasted for three days and three nights calling upon God to open the way.
In 1988 I received a letter from Brother Decker to come to Ohio for the camp meeting. I came to the August camp meeting and was blessed to meet many good saints. God touched some hearts and I was given a sum of money to build a church building. I used some of the money to build the parsonage and the first floor of the main church building in 1989.
Our plan is to build a second story on the building for dorm rooms for when we have seminars and special meetings. The total land area owned here is nearly one acre but not compacted; some additional lots need to be purchased to even up the property. Six additional plots (each plot being 50 by 100 feet) can be purchased at this time for about $15,000.00 (about $2,500.00 for each plot depending on the price negotiated at the time of sale).
To complete the second story of the main building will cost around $6000.00. This will give room for campers to lodge and for the school to operate.

Dear Bro. Stan Rexroth,
I want to thank God for your email reply of 19 October, which I received from Brother John Agharanya on Nov. 2. I am sure you have received the survey plans and the photograph through the post office by now.
May I express my sincere gratitude to you my overseas brethren and Bro. John Agharanya for the monthly stipend I have started to enjoy since October, 2000 which is the first of its’ kind since I gave my life as a full time Minister in God’s vineyard. God’s benevolence makes it possible for me to enjoy your fruits. Praises be to His name forever, Amen
I wish to inform you that I have recently concluded a seminar on the theme: the BODY OF MAN, with topics on the Misuse of your body, shedding of blood, and the worshipping of idols, at Calabar. In fact the stipend, which I collected in October, helped me much because I used it for few slots of Radio advert while pastor Agharanya printed handbills and posters free of charge for me. I really thanked him for his love. However, the turn out was impressive.
Right now we are preparing for the annual camp meeting at Aba, starting from 22 – 27 December.
Please don’t forget to introduce our Hospital and Prison Ministries to organizations for possible assistance as early requested. Obviously we really need help, to assist the dying ones in our society.
Thank you and God bless.

FELLOWSHIP MEETING REPORT
Zion Hill Church of God, Benton, Arkansas
December 15, 2000
To the Saints:
The Lord blessed us with his presence again this year in our Thanksgiving Meeting. Many were saved, some healed, and several helped in many ways. The preaching and singing were good and blessed of God.
We want to thank everyone who came and participated and helped with the work that had to be done at such a meeting as this. The financial needs were met for which we thank the Lord and you.
I believe there were two coats left by someone, who may need them now that it has turned cold. If the owners will let us know what they have missing, we will try to get them to you.
Some were missing this year, which have been here in the past and we want you to know that you were missed. Maybe you can make it next year.
Our prayers and efforts are as always for lost souls to find God, the teaching of truth that sets souls free and unifies God’s people in the one body of Christ.
May God’s richest blessings be on you at this Christmas time.
Sincerely,
Charles E. Powell, Pastor
