Bro. Okon wrote: "The seeds of oneness of God's people have been planted and you have come to water the seeds. God, I am sure is going to give increase as we stand together to practicalise the moves. It looks gigantic before men, but with the eye of faith God's people shall be one. Since the year 2000, the church has two more congregations added to itself. We are happy to report that 99 church officers attended the seminar. There is hope for increase as the Lord grants an open door. We are praying for you and the WMF".

The time, money and the suffering which you have sacrificed shall surely yield good fruits in Jesus name. We have been blessed with your Ministration. Your simplicity and humbleness is a challenge to us. Prayers has already began in Lagos concerning your return trip to Nigeria next year 2003 and especially Lagos area. We love you and are solidly behind your vision".

Presently we're still busy working the Passport of this two boys because of the many requirements going back and forth before they're given a passport. So we decided to work the visa in Manila after our Ministerial Conference to be held in Baguio City Church of God dated April 17-22. Please remember us in your prayers. We count this conference to be the most expensive due to the fare is almost doubled and most of the Pastors comes from Mindanao, 3 days and 3 nights by ship and by bus, 2 hours by plane.
Glad also to inform that our Pastor Training School ended last March 22 with 8 graduates that needs our prayer and additional support. It is our earnest prayer to God the owner of the church and who hath called us to continue blessing His dear people abroad, who are sacrificing much that the work in the mission field will continue to prosper.
We extend our much love and gratitude to all of you saints for your continuous support to the work here in our area of responsibility. May God richly bless you all.
Yours In God's Labor,

Hello again! It's time to gather again at the corner. As April is now upon us, SPRING seems to be here. Yes warm weather, birds singing, flowers blooming, and of course (ha-choo) allergies. You know as I think about April, my mind goes back to the old saying April showers, bring May flowers. Yep we do need the rain, even though sometimes it may not fit into our plans. The rain, however, helps the grass grow and the flowers bloom. You know in our life some "rain " must fall but remember that God knows that sometimes we need it, to help us grow. So if you are going through a rainy season in your spiritual life just hang on. The Lord will be your umbrella He will protect you and it will help you grow.
POWER VERSE: Isaiah 26:3 -4 "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusteth in thee.
4 "Trust ye in the Lord forever: for in the Lord JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:"
Well that's about it for this time, Remember to let God have total control of your life, because when God RIEGNS, BLESSINGS POUR.

REVIVAL REPORT
Revival services were held at The Cumberland Valley Church of God in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania from February 27 - March 3, 2002. The Evangelist was Bro. Tim Bash. The Lord blessed the meeting with His presence.
Wednesday's message was "Married To Christ" with reference to 1 Cor 15:31, & 36. Bro. Tim preached: for a marriage to succeed each must die to self. Christ died for you and for you to be married to Him you must die to self. There is a surplus of complacency and acceptance in our culture. To succeed as a Christian Christ must be your commander and the Bible your manual for life.
Thursday's message was "The Jailhouses That We Sit In" with reference to Acts 16:25-31. He preached many in our world today are locked up in prisons of sin. "Sin will bind you, blind you and destroy you". Some are imprisoned by fear, some by depression, some by pornography, some by drugs and others by alcohol or tobacco. If anything controls you, then God cannot be your first love.
Friday's message was "Defense And Offense" with reference to Eph 6:10-18. He preached all the armour is for you. It is God's armour. If you are going to go anywhere you must go in the Gospel. You put on and wear the helmet, breastplate, girdle & shoes. You must carry your shield. God is your shield. The only offense you have is The Word of God. If you don't know the Word of God all you will ever do is retreat.
Saturday's message was "Sin Cannot Be Reversed" with reference to Esther 1:1-18. He preached Are you safe where you are? Will you be spared? Are you prepared? Are you willing to do battle? The only safe place is under the blood. The only way to be spared is through the blood of Jesus. You need to always be ready to fight the good fight of faith. You cannot defeat sin without a fight.
Sunday's message was "Keep Your Fork The Best Is Yet To Come" with reference to 2 Samuel 9:1-13. Bro. Tim preached everything that affects your physical body affects your spiritual body. We have all been crippled by sin and it is up to us to overcome. You are invited to sit at the King's table. You don't have to sty crippled by sin.
CAMP MEETING REPORT
Rock Chapel Church of God Camp Meeting was held March 24-28 2002.
Monday morning's message by Bro. George Norton was on "One Place" with reference to Acts 2:1. He taught us the one place was a place of patience, Acts 1:4; a place of prayer, Acts 1:14; a place of power, Acts 1:8; and a place of purpose, Acts 1:8. He said "they prayed 10 days and preached 10 minutes and 3,000 were saved. We pray 10 minutes, preach 10 days and maybe 3 get saved".
Monday evening Bro. Tony Bartlette preached on "Who Are You Living For" with reference to 2 Cor. 5:13-15 & Genesis 3:1. He preached yea, hath God said we know nothing. We're either living for God or self. Take up your cross daily. For me to live is Christ. Leave worry, anxiety, etc. What will my savior think? Will my friends help me to live for Christ? You don't have to have everything of the world. You don't have to be pulled apart by worldly things.
Tuesday morning, Bro. Clark from First Church of God in Ashville, North Carolina preached on "Prayer" with reference to 1 Thes 5:17-18 & Phil 4:6. He said two activities in church are essential, constant heart (continued) prayer & study of the Word. Prayer changes church for the better. Fervent, effectual prayer of a righteous man availeth much. One body in him; love one to another. Need commitment to pray more.
Tuesday evening was a special missionary service. Bro. Lemke showed the Haiti video and Sis. Martha Rexroth gave a presentation on the Philippines and Nigeria.
Wednesday morning Bro. Tony Bartlette preached on "We're Not an Abandoned People" with reference from Esther. Haman had a plan; the King married Esther because of her beauty. God had not abandoned His people. He had placed Esther there for this time to spare His people. God has a program for you. You need friends who will tell you the truth. We need crisis's. God is still on the throne. Haman' plan was reversed. God turns things around.
Wednesday evening Bro. Tony Bartlette preached on "The Strait Gate" with reference to Luke 13:23-24 & Matt 7:13-14. He said the concept of Biblical Christianity has been lost today. It's a life not an act. You can't tell the world from the church and the church from the world. A lot of funerals are shams putting sinners in heaven. People want to do their own thing. They want self-styled worship. The strait gate involves forsaking self and full surrender to the Lord.
Thursday morning Pastor Ron Leasure preached on "What Has Christ Done For You?" from 2 Timothy 1:11-12 & Acts 22:1-30. He said a dead person knows when they become alive. We know when things are changed in our life. We know if we are saved or not. He gave his testimony of how God radically changed his life.
Thursday evening Bro. Tony Bartlette preached on "Power of Resiliency" from Numbers 13. He said sin has a sinking time every day. You must be ready to spring back overcoming heartaches, trials, etc. We really mean something to God so we need to go on & be steady. Don't give up on living for Christ because of trials & tribulations. What's it take to ruin your day? God will do what He said He would do.
