Psalm 41:1 "Blessed is he that considereth the poor; the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble."

In 1989 a group of Church of God Ministers met in Arcadia, Ohio with the purpose of forming an organization that would structure our mission endeavors in a manner that would be more effective, more efficient and accountable. From that beginning emerged (WMF) World Missionary Fellowship, USA.

WMF continues to grow and at present consists of 44 delegates representing eighteen congregations or organizations. This is a gain of 9 delegates and 3 congregations since May 2001. Annual membership dues of $15.00 per delegate go for general expenses and subscription to the Info+. No one person or congregation controls WMF. The delegates make all the decisions according to the established by-laws.

To those of you that are not members of WMF, let me encourage you to become members. If you would like a copy of the by-laws, please contact me. I am also available to visit with you or your congregation to discuss WMF or any of the missions that we support.

We have no paid staff; all of our work is done on a volunteer basis. All money sent to WMF goes to the missions. The accounts are audited on an annual basis and are available for inspection by contacting the treasurer.

Let us work together for the advancement of the Kingdom of God. Editor

Excerpts From Reports of April Activity:

From Abam/Abala, Pastor Christian Ogbuka: We thank God on behalf of our foreign missionaries who were with us for about two weeks and some days. God is helping us to get ourselves reorganized for a serious work ahead. And as long as Jesus tarries, the preaching of the gospel continues. We hope that there will be a quick soon return of our brethren for the Lord's work requiring haste.

Calabar, Pastor Bassey Ekpe: We thank God for last month though the raining season have set in. But we still made progress during evangelism three were saved. We had 50 members in attendance this month.

Ikot Inyang Eti, Pastor Udobong Essien: A three-day revival was held joint with Ikot Edibon. Jesus did wonders in which many souls were set free from the bondage of Satan. Attendance on the 28th was 41 both adults & children.

Aba (Ehere Mkt), Pastor James Igbokwe: The church in Aba is one month old and to the glory of God we have gotten three or four families who has been coming to worship with us. Even irrespective of no seats or benches for them to sit some even bring from their house.

Akpaa-MBA-ATO, Pastor Ronald Iheanacho: What I need is a land, church building and evangelical equipment. I am having house-to-house evangelism and I thank God for one family who by God's Grace received the message of salvation. I need your prayers.

Umuahia, Pastor Cyriacus Nwachukwu: People have started trooping in my branch. Twenty-five souls were added to the church. Accommodation forms an impediment because we are on a rented building.

Dear Bro. Rexroth & Info Patronizers,

Godly, summer greetings from us. Through with our 5th National Ministerial Conference - April 17-21 in Baguio City, here is our short report of what transpired in it. Of the delegations' long travels, the only isolated untoward incident happened was the bumping of Pastor D. B. Luzan's Xterm wagon by a mini-bus while we're on convoy toward Metro Manila exit. Though the vehicle's rear part was greatly damaged and we brought Pastor Luzan and Sis. Juvy (in pregnant stage) to the hospital for check up, etc., we thank God that no one of them was seriously injured.

The church as a whole of 30 congregations was perfectly represented in the convention. Only in workers as Bro. A. Asisten pastoring Pasandalan was completely paralyzed. Please remember him & his wife in your prayers. To help them financially, the delegates collected special offering Friday evening service. It totaled P4,947 ($98.94).

From the first day to the last, the conference was really worth remembering. On the 1st night, Bro. Batallang, the host, gave the opening message, "The Call of God to His People", taken from 1 John 1:5-8. All the singings were so inspiring led by Baguio Youth Choir added by the varied contributions from the delegations. The daily schedules were well divided into: grouped studies, morning & evening services, business meetings, committee workshops & reportings, fellowships & strollings / shopping's during free times. For the messages, the following pastors preached: Mornings: Bro. O. Ladio, Bro. R. Gonzales, Bro. E. Tolintino & Bro. D. B. Luzan Sr.; Evening: Bro. A Batallang, Bro. D. W. Luzan Jr.., Bro. J. Fajardo, Bro. R. Luzan & Bro. R. Esteban. To sum up all the contents of the preaching's, lectures & reminders, they all unitedly targeted on reactivating the attendees to enrich their faith foundation, church loyalty & participation in helping God's church prosper.

For the business meetings, Pastor D. B. Luzan chaired in all except the Youth Business as presided by Youth National President, Bro. Jess Fajardo. There were three resolutions approved in the conference bar: 1. The increase of workers SSS contributions from Bracket 8 to 10 for their better future pension benefits; 2. The removal of TV sets among church parsonages which are offending to others, etc.; and 3. The demand to all established churches to have preaching points preparatory to outgoing GBS students. In the youth's meeting, they approved drum set as their latest project and elected their new set of national officers for 2002-2005. They were Pres. Bro. J. Duce; Vice Bro. R. Amistad; Sec. Sis Vo Mostrales; Treas. Sis A Abian; Auditors: Sis. M. Macaoay & Sis. J. Eidalgo; and Advisor: Bro. J. Fajardo.

In this conference there were four couple workers ordained: Bro. & Sis. D. W. Luzan Jr., Bro. & Sis. Jun Tayocnog, Bro. & Sis. B. Macaoay and Bro. & Sis. Z. Layma. Another good news pointed in the gathering was the steady increase of church giving - a good mark of members widening hearts to support God's work. Last year's total income of P1,186,295.70 ($24,210.12) was increased this year to P1,248,579.90 ($24,971.59) with a difference of P62,284.20 ($1,245.68). Last significant thing noted in the convention was the addition of five pioneering fieldwork, so we have now a total of 35 compared to last year's 30 congregations due to the fielding of GBS students.

For more details about the conference, we refer you to read our forthcoming release of Conference Journal 2002. To close our letter, we convey once more our thanks to you our foreign friends for untiringly helping God's Philippine Mission. With the Lord's moving you to back up, we are now in this number of congregations & state of ministerial labor here in our native country. God bless you bountifully.

In God's Labor,
Sis. Noemi Luzan Esteban
National Secretary for the Bible Holiness Church of God

INDIA

Received May 2 2002

Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ,

Loving greetings from India in the Name of our Savior Lord Jesus Christ who created us for His Glory.

I wish to share with you the ministries being done in this area. In some states the preaching of the gospel prohibited. The Lord is protecting us till today & opening opportunities to spread the Gospel in this state. We are doing our best to reach towns & villages with the good news.

Every month during 2001 we could arrange gospel meetings inside the churches and go out in open-air with free gospel tracts. This April 12-14 we had good meetings in the nearby village, about 150 attended. We could provide simple food and shelter for three days. We are not sufficient to do these things but we look to the Lord for help and guidance.

We have plans to conduct meetings in May 10-12 & 22-25 in different villages. We are expecting many people from all this state and neighbor state. Please pray for these meetings and share the burden with us for the needs for these camp meetings that God may be glorified and many souls refreshed and revived and also for the spirit-filled ministers.

Your Brother in His grace,
K. H. Paul

YOUTH CORNER

Hello all time again to visit the youth corner and find out what is going on. I know that many of you are excited as the school year is coming to an end. That summer is approaching, and many of you will spend the summer at many camp meetings and retreats and see friends that you don't get to see but once a year. I also know that many of you that are seniors are very excited about graduating and maybe a little scared about what the future holds. Well with all this going on and as you are finishing school, I give you this piece of advice, "Don't let Cain kill Able!" I know that it sounds strange but just give me a minute to explain. Many of you are familiar with the story of Cain and Able, which is found in Genesis chapter 4. Cain had hate in his heart for his brother. He was upset; he felt that God favored Able more. So the hate grew and Cain killed his brother. Now I know you are thinking what does that have to do with me? Well you see we all fight a war within us every day between good and evil. Cain is that fleshly man, and Able is that Godly man. We must decide every day if we are going to obey God or do what we want to do. If you let Cain take over he will become stronger and choke out the Godly man. However if you obey God, he will help you to live for Him and not give into the flesh. So as you finish school, and start your summer, Don't let Cain kill Able!

Power Verse: Matthew 22:37 "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind."

FELLOWSHIP MEETING REPORT

We enjoyed attending the Fellowship Day at Pine Flats Church of God, Pine Flats, Pennsylvania on April 27 2002. Bro Henry Marquiss preached the morning message on "Jesus, The Lord" with text from Acts 2:36. Bro. Henry told us that Jesus is Lord of the Universe. He is Lord of our shame. He is Lord of our lives and He is Lord of eternity.

Bro. Geno Bartoletti brought a chalk talk in the afternoon on "Lighthouse in Time of Peace" with reference from Psalm 139:1-18, 23-24.
