Nehemiah 10:38 And the priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites, when the Levites take tithes: and the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes unto the house of our God, to the chambers, into the treasure house.

Our compassion for needs of others outside of our own congregations is demonstrated by what we do to help them. Many congregations use the tithe of the tithes as a guide in mission giving. The needs on the mission fields continue to increase. Pray with us that we may be of greater help. Editor

Dear Brethren,

Calvary greetings. To the glory of God we wish to share the joy of the Lord’s doing with you. Your last visit to us has really brought tremendous changes to the ministries. The college inaugurated is very active. Students increased to about 40 within four months. A handbook of the college is in the print for more advert. The college afforded an opportunity for me to reach out to many ministers. This is a fulfillment of the prophecy many years ago.

Elder & Mrs. E. D. Akan invite me to minister to them once a week. Our Youth Day, March 25 was very successful, many youths were blessed. Our women day is coming up on May 25. Revival is scheduled for June 26-29.

Many churches are ready to register with World Missionary Fellowship, USA. We shall introduce them to you very soon. Our interview with American Embassy has been scheduled.

We need your prayers.

SISTERS FELLOWSHIP REPORT

To the honorable Father & Mother Jennings Byron and Gail Wood,

Once again I would like to wishing you with hearty thanks in the sweet name of Jesus, I am very happy to have this opportunity to give the report of Church of God sisters fellowship meeting. We want to shine and encourage them in the service of the Lord and utilize their talents what the Lord had given to them, as singing, praying, counseling and preaching the eternal gospel especially to the non Christian women, men not allowed to preach them.

The one day meeting was held April 11 & ended with many blessings. Two special speakers, Sis. Loise (social welfare officer) and Sis. Elizabeth (retired teacher) belongs to our faith. They preached and teached the word of God. At the same time our sisters shared their witness and the great things what the Lord had done for their family. Gifted sisters sang the beautiful hymns and encouraged the fellowship. After praising the Lord they offered special prayers for the fellowship of the Church of God and especially for the Father & Mother Wood and all the saints of the Church of God USA.

Sisters were encouraged and strengthened in their faith, my wife, Jonse and other sisters cooked dishes for the attendees. We are very care of false teachings and awakening all our congregations as our precious Mother Wood said. Now we are conducting special prayer cells for Mother ‘Wood health and for all your good welfare.

Our best regards and gratitude’s.
Your Servant,
Bro. Bobby K. Emmanuel

YOUTH CORNER

It is time once again to go down to the corner and see what is happening.   I can hardly believe it is April already.   As I think of how things are moving along quickly, I am reminded of a story.   There once was a young man who loved the Lord and served him with all he had.  He was very active in everything that he thought was involved in serving the Lord.   He was always busy, always working for the Lord.   One day, however he discovered that he was always working and never spending time with the one he was working for.   While all he was doing were good ideas, they were not always God’s ideas.   He learned that he had to always take time to be quiet and still and spend time with the Master.   Remember to always take time with God and rest in Him.

Power Verse:   Psalms 37:7  “Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. ”

Upcoming Events: See Calendar

Well that is about it for this time.  Take care and remember to serve the Lord with all you got!

FELLOWSHIP MEETING REPORT

We were privileged to attend Fellowship day at Pine Flats Church of God, Pine Flats, Pennsylvania April 10. Bro. Bob Kurka preached the morning message, “A Success For God” from Mark 11:23-24, Matt 18:21-35, Luke 17:4 & Eph 4:32. He said we should strive for success by striving for an F grade by Forgiving, Forgetting, Walking in Faith & Fortifying our lives with God’s Word.

CAMP MEETING REPORT

We were privileged to attend a few days (April 15-17) of camp meeting at Rock Chapel Church of God, Granite Falls, North Carolina. Bro. Bill Neece was the evening evangelist. Tuesday evening he preached on “Intercessory Prayer” from John 14:1-14. He instructed us to stand between those in need here on earth and God in heaven interceding for them. Intercessory prayer is the secret weapon of the church. It is accurate & powerful. There is no defense against it. We can pray for whatever in the authority & nature of Jesus and He will do it that God will be glorified.

Wednesday morning Bro. Lee Green preached on “An Urgent Call To Seek Revival” from Psalm 85:4-13, 81:10-16 & Romans 13:11-12. He reminded us that the purpose of revival is to make God famous, not man. If we are going to have revival, we must love one another. “When love grows thin, then faults grow thick.”

Wednesday evening Bro. Neece preached on “What’s In A Name” from Acts 20:20-28, Eph 2:18, 3:14-15 & John 17:11-12. He reminded us some churches are named after prominent people and some because of their programs. Twelve times in the New Testament the body of believers is referred to as the church of God. Why did God change the names of Abram, Sari, Jacob and others? The name Church of God shows us the origin of the name and the ownership.

Bro. Stanley Rexroth preached on Thursday morning on “Press Into The Kingdom of God” from Matt 11:12, Luke 16:16, 1 Tim 6:12, 2 Cor 10:1-6, Eph 6:10-18 & 1 Cor 9:24-27. He reminded us that there is a Kingdom of peace, righteousness & joy and to get it and keep it we must fight the good fight of faith. The fight is a war with our flesh. Our enemy is the devil. We fight within our minds. Our weapon is the Word of God.

Bro. Neece preached Thursday evening on “Give God What You Have, He Will Take Care of You” from 2 Kings 4:1-7 & Eph 3:20. He told us that if you give to God what you have, it will be enough for God to do what needs to be done. Moses had a rod and it was enough to deliver the children of Israel from slavery. David had a sling and a small boy had five barley loaves and two small fish; for God to do what was needed to be done it was enough.
