Luke 14:28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?
Every so often we must count the cost of what we are doing in the work of the Kingdom and that time has arrived for the publishing of the Info+. Effective immediately the donation requested for the Info+ is increased to $10.00 per year. This July will be ten years of publishing the paper and this is the first increase. Pray for us as we do our best to spread the word of what is going on in all the churches and missions. Editor

The priorities for projects as listed by the Nigerian Pastors:
1. Complete the Umuahia land purchase

3. Registration of the Churches
In reference to email pleas from the Nigerian mission for help with specific benevolence issues the pastors shall use the community fund to cover them as they see fit.
Brother Christian Ogbuka would like a letter of invitation to come to camp meeting in the US. Due to funding and difficulty obtaining a visa for someone who has never visited the US it was recommend that the churches be registered first. This will give more credibility with the Nigerian government.
Motion by Brother Gayheart to issue a letter of invitation for Brother Edet to come to the US. Brother Edet has been in the US before and has the ability to pay his own way. Seconded by Brother Lemke, motion carried.

NIGERIA
February 6, 2003
Thank the Lord for His traveling mercies and support during our trip to Nigeria. We left Nigeria late on Thursday night but did not arrive at BWI until 11am Saturday morning due to weather conditions (snow) in London. We visited 17 churches while we were in Nigeria and the Lord blessed the trip in many ways. People were saved both in the services and on the street. Many heard Biblical messages on the Kingdom of God, end time prophecy, the conditional security of the believer and other important teachings for the first time and it had an effect. One pastor was nearly in tears when it dawned on him that Christ replaced the Old Covenant with the New and that he did not need to keep the dietary requirements of the Old Testament. Many of the pastors that came to our seminars were charismatic and I preached on the modern tongues movement from I Corinthians 14 in at least one church in each church group we visited. The Lagos pastor estimated that over 1,000 came to the seminar there. There were 300-400 at the night services in Umuahia. We held a communion and feet washing service in Nsit Ibom and 360 participated. Many experienced feet washing for the first time. Baptismal services were held in two cities.
In addition to the preaching and training seminars we helped out the Nigerian churches financially. We carried Bibles and books from the US. We contributed money for land purchase, building projects, educational assistance, medical expenses and pastoral support. The pastors were encouraged and they are looking forward to carrying the message of salvation to their people.
Thank-you for your prayers and financial support in making this trip possible and successful. Praise the Lord!! Henry Marquiss III

January Evangelistic Outreach Report 2003:
This evangelistic report for the month was characterized by foreign and home based mission trip c/o Pastor Christian Ogbuka.
The foreign missionaries, which comprised Bro. Henry Marquiss III, Bro. Rube Gayheart and Bro. Wiley Cash. These did great work and traveled far and wide in Nigeria during their mission trip. Particularly from Lagos State, Abia State, Cross River State, Akwa Ibom and finally Rivers State.
In Lagos Ikota Estate they started preaching on the 14th till 16th.
On 17th they left Lagos for Abia State, Umuahia where they preached 17-19 with over 400 souls present. Sunday 19th record more souls. On the 18th they traveled to Abam/Abala Nkamiri to see the land purchase and the building project going on there.
Among the great achievements made by the missionaries during this trip was their effort to place Bro. Ronald Iheanacho where he will pastor. This was made possible by the coming of brethren from Umuoba who left Bro. John of BTCG about 5 years ago. So they came to see the missionaries and stated their willingness to follow the Church of God World Missionary Fellowship Nigeria. After a short meeting, they were asked to go and gather the members. This they did and based on this, Bro. Ronald was asked to start the next Sunday for worship with them.
On 20th they left to Cross River Calabar and preached for 20-21 at Bro. Johnnie Austin’s congregation.
On 22-23 they left for Akwa Ibom, Nsit Ibom in Afaha Offiong for Bishop Sunday Udoh and preached there.
On 24 they left for Oku Iboku for Bishop Okon and preached there that day.
On 25 they left for Nsit Ubium Ikot Inyang Eti in Akwa Ibom for Pastor Udobong Okon Essien and preached. There seven candidates were baptized by Pastor Christian Ogbuka in company of the missionaries and the entire congregation which numbered over forty members present.
Same day they left for Eket to see Pastor E. David and his congregation. There they preached to the members numbering 20.
From thence they changed their strategy in order to meet mission challenges. Bro. Henry was taken to Bishop Okon to worship there on Sunday 26, Bro. Rube to worship with Bishop Sunday Udoh and Bro. Wiley & Bro. Christian went to Pastor Okon Jim to worship. Bro. Rube reported that he visited two congregations of Bro. Sunday.
Sunday evening there was a communion service organized by Bishop Sunday Udoh and was concluded by the missionaries. To carry it out Bro. Christina taught on feet washing and conducted it while Bro. Rube & Wiley taught on communion and conducted it. Over 50 souls took part in the communion.
On 27 we all met at Bro. Okon’s and went out for visitation on four branches of Bro. Okon, which are very far apart from each other.
On 28 the missionaries left for a visit to two Brothers in Uyo town. After that we all left to Bro. Sunday Udoh for the missionaries to prepare for their going back.
On 29 we left to Port Harcourt to visit one congregation after which we left to Port Harcourt Airport. On our route we had a burst tire of the jeep. God being on our side, there were no hazards and we were intercepted by Bro. Sunday Udoh’s mission bus. In this bus we transferred the luggage of the missionaries to take to airport.
APPRECIATION: We the entire ministers, elders and members as a whole do appreciate the missionary spirit for which the three-man team came to Nigeria. Their sincere financial support to all for the progress of the work of God. Their huge spiritual encouragement is worthy of note. God has used them for great support this time around, their revival spirit has spread to so many we believe they are back home safely.
Praise be to God’s Holy Name.
Pastor Christian Ogbuka
REPORTS FOR THE MONTH OF DECEMBER:
Ehere, Aba, Pastor James Igbokwe: Attendance was 3 – 4 persons. The church has recovered from its pitfalls because discovered that God adds to His church.
Abam/Abala, Pastor Christian Ogbuka: Attendance was from 56 to 88. God blessed His work more. Our evangelical activities brought more fruit. Our three days fasting wherein we waited on the Lord concerning the coming of our foreign brethren. As at December 27 we heard of their attempt to cancel the trip, we prayed and prayed till it was restored. Praise God for that.
Our women service was successful so with this they revived the church by their earnest spirit of ministration. We had more addition of attendants on 22nd & 29th for the women invited their women folk for the service they conducted. Not that all were souls saved to the Church of God, but mostly invitees.
The 31st was another day of intense waiting on the Lord till the New Year many who came home from their place where they are living and working also came and worshipped with us. They received the touch of God for their healing and their soul was blessed.
Four souls were saved this month. We thank God for the blessing of His work while we wait for the coming op of our foreign missionaries in Jesus name.

We had one-day seminar on the speaking in “tongue”. These followed our thanksgiving, which took place on the 15th; it was very successful as people turn up with their first fruit and thanksgiving to God.
Women Day came up on the 22nd. This was all women affairs where our women took the pulpit from Sunday School to the preaching of the message.
Meanwhile I will here remind our people the WMF official that after Umuahia project, it would be Calabar and it would cost us $20,000.00 as where we are worshipping is a classroom and when school are in session we can not perform activities there properly so we need a place for a permanent church building; please advertise for a help. The missionaries expressed their willingness to speak on that behalf as soon as they reach home. The cost of completion of the project is $5,000,00. Then out of pity the missionaries gave $1000.00.
Umuahia, Pastor Cyriacus Nwachukwu: Attendance 99 to 108; souls won = 5 who are now regular in their attendance after the seminar and visit of the missionaries, our normal activities are carried out weekly. Letter of Appreciation
We the elders, pastor and the entire members of The Church of God World Missionary Fellowship, Amafor Isingwu, Umuahia, Nigeria hereby express our gratitude for fulfilling your promise to us by sending $6,700.00 of the ten-thousand you promised us in the year 2002. We pray to God almighty father to bless you all for your good gesture. We hope that the three men delegates arrived back safely. Keep fit and God bless.
Editor’s Note: We still need $2,300.00 to purchase the land for Umuahia pray that this will be supplied soon.
Umuoba Isiala Ngwa, Pastor Ronald Iheanacho: Attendance = 12; during the visit of WMF representatives it was generally agreed that I should be transferred to Umuoba where we have some members than staying or starting a new branch, and the transfer took effect immediately and our first fellowship commenced on January 26, 2003, we’re now planning for revival blessed.
Ikot Edibon, Pastor Okon Jim Ibok: Attendance 11 – 20, We conducted 3 days revival from 16th to 18th, Young people meeting was held on the 29th, house-to-house evangelism prayer and fasting was held on the 3rd.

Ehere, Aba, Pastor James Igbokwe: Attendance 15 – 18, we experience increase as we returned from Umuahia, 2 souls saved.
Calabar, Pastor Bassey Ekpe: Attendance 45 – 58, 5 souls saved, Evangelism was geared up during the month, this was the reason we had a large turn up of people during the last visit of our brothers from the United States. For the two days seminar on the unity of the church we had more than hundred people who turn up and they express joy at the hearing of such teaching. House-to-house evangelism and early morning cry on daily basis. Our brother from Akwa Ibom state also turn up for the seminar. This month also witness other usual tarry night which took place on the 31st, this was a night of miracle where sister Abot regained her eyesight, praise God, she had been blind of one eye by unseen force. And other were also delivered too. My appeal here is a reminder about our project support to buy a land and build a church here, please consider this for this year.
Uyo, Pastor Johnnie Austin: As a chief host and the organizer of the entire program in Calabar which, embodied brethren from Akwa Ibom state, there was no chance for me to conduct anything in Uyo. Rather some members from Uyo attended the Calabar Seminar and wished such could also have held in Uyo. Brethren, as a church planter, I am still appealing for your support to enable me open and start a church in Uyo. This is the area of my specialization.
Eket Urban, Pastor E. David: Attendance 13 – 19, 2 souls saved. We held three days daily prayers and one day house-to-house preaching. I have to make it known that we lack equipment for evangelism; for this we still pray the brethren to give support to enable us to evangelize the town.
CONVENTION REPORT OF THE CHURCH OF GOD (UNIVERSAL) OF NIGERIA INC.
Greetings to the saints everywhere in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our annual Convention was held in December last year from the 24th to the 29th. It was attended by 510 adults and more than 600 youths and children, outsiders not included. The hand of the Lord was present to deliver sinners from their sins, reclaim backsliders, edify the saints and heal the bodies of many from dreadful sickness and diseases. To God be the glory through His son Jesus Christ.
The success of the Convention depended upon the earnest spiritual preparation of the saints. A three-day fasting prayer was held in all the congregations of God prior to the day of the convention. Singing youths arrived at the campground on the 23rd for rehearsal, they also alerted the community on the events of the following days.
To host the convention successfully, saints gave support willingly with jars of edible oil, bags of rice, numerous chickens, smoke fishes, bags of crayfish, hundreds of yam tubers, he goats for meat, basins full of eggs, hundred of bunches of plantain and banana, cartons of liquid and dried milk and dozens of tin beverages in addition to hundreds thousands of Nigerian money (Naira). “But the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits” Daniel 11:32b. The theme of the convention was “THE EXCLUSIVE CHRIST” and the convention featured Holy Ghost Singing and prayer, anointed messages centered on the exclusive Christ, fasting prayers for the healing of the body, youth activities, baptismal service, feet washing and the Lord’s supper.
The six-day convention was heaven blessed. Seasoned preachers lifted high the exclusive Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit and souls were blessed. They expounded the scriptures under the following headlines: Christ’s power over Satan announced; Gen 3:14-15, His exaltation above Moses; Deut 18:18-19, Acts 3:22-24; His occupation of the throne forever as a king and a Priest in Zion after the order of Melchizedec; Psalm 45:6-7, Isaiah 9:P6-7, Heb 7:12-17; As God’s anointed sufferer, Isaiah 53 and yet a bringer of good things, Heb 9:11a; His unique conception by the Holy Ghost and born of a woman to save His people from their sins, Matt 1:18-21; His sinless life, 1 John 3:5, 1 Peter 2:21-22 yet full of love and mercy; His teachings, healing & miracles that confirm that he is the son of God, John 8:42, 55; His Vicarious suffering and bloody death on the cross so that sinners might be redeemed from all iniquity, John 11:49-53, Titus 2:1.
As each of the above outlines was expounded at every service many eyes were opened to see the real Christ and His true body, the Church. Tears went down the checks of some as they went up to the altar seeking help from the Lord. Others sat by and made resolve to live for the Lord only throughout their remaining days on earth.
On Sunday morning 25 souls that were saved went down for water baptism and the Lord added them to His church. At the end of the meeting faces were aglow with heavenly light and joy. At 11 PM parting hymns were sung with tears of joy from ransomed hearts; one wishing another fruit bearing and Christ like life in readiness for His coming.
Appreciation: We thank the Lord of Glory for His spirit of love that pervaded the whole gathering, ordering all things to be done decently and in order. We pray for more of God’s blessings upon the ministry and all of God’s people everywhere, upon workers in the kitchen, sharers of food, fetchers of water from the springs, upon all supporters in cash or kind and all local brethren who provided comfortable accommodations for hundreds of distant participants. Remember that our God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love that ye have showed towards his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints and do minister and we desire that every one of you do show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope to the end. Heb 6:10. Beloved we are persuaded better things of you and things that accompany salvation (during the next camp meeting, God willing!) V. 9.
Thank you and God Bless,
Bro. Elijah W. Akpan & Bro. Victor Umondia

To Honorable Father & Mother Jennings Byron & Gail Wood,
First of all we praise God for His wonderful blessings towards us through you. At the same time we are giving thanks to you and the saints for the beautiful church building at K M Nagar, the work of church building is completed; wall paintings and writings of Word of God had done nicely.

Dear father & mother Wood, by your great help and encouragement we completed the uncompleted church building. The village of K M Nagar is cursed one; there is no true church except a catholic church and a Hindu temple. In this situation we felt very sorry and praying to God for the building. The Lord answered our prayers; by faith we started the construction work, I used bricks, which I was collected for my house but those were not enough.
After I laid foundation the work was stopped long time because of lack of help, at this helpless position I took the matter to your kindness, it was also published in WMF Info+, the Lord strengthened me through your wonderful love offerings prayers encouragements and supports now it is standing beautifully. I am also thankful to our precious sister Lisa Jordan for the blessed offerings for this. All our K M Nagar fellowship of the church of God saints sending their hearty thanks to you father. They are proud of your kindness. Nearly 60 saints are gathering for all the meetings.
Dear father & mother, now the work of the Thotapally church building construction is going on. We bought fifteen thousand bricks, cement, sand, granite chips, iron, and cement sheets for roof and wood materials. Because of some Indian festivals, Edur camp meetings and some other personal problems the work started late, please excuse me for the delay. Within 20 days the construction will be completed please.
We are also thankful for your kind help for this construction. Closing with hearty thanks.
Your Servant,
K B Emmanuel

This is all done only by the grace of God and through your kindness and supporting help, we are only labors in this mission.
Dear Father, the church buildings that we are constructing by your great help should be strong and stand for long and long. These buildings never effected by cyclones. In this view we take every care in construction, we laid strong foundation and on the foundation we arranged rod and cement concrete belt.
Dear Father & Mother, we are planning to arrange twenty-four hours divine program on 18th February. It is called A DAY IN THE GODS HOUSE, According the Psalm 84:10. Especially we will remember you in all our prayers and praises. YOUTH CORNER
It is that time again to see what is going on in the youth corner. You know at this time of year, there is one word that kind of surrounds this month of February.
Can you guess what it is? I’ll give you a hint, it’s not groundhog. Have you guessed it yet? Go ahead, phone a friend if you have to, I’ll wait. . . . . . . . . .
Okay, I need your final answer. The word is LOVE
Many of the world is focusing on love, well what they think is love. You know so many people have a really weird idea of love. Some people throw that word around like it means nothing. I knew a young lady who “loved” everything. She loved her new purse, she loved your new hairstyle, she loved her shoes, she loved her parents and she loved the Lord, but she used the word so much, that I think she forgot what it meant. She would even say, that she just loved something to death. That is a really strong statement. To love something so much that you would be willing to die for it, that is a bold statement. It really makes me realize what Christ did for us on the cross. He really loved us to death. What a sobering thought, He died for us.
Power Verse: 1 John 4:10 “ Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”
Power Surge: 1 Corinthians 13
If you have anything your youth group is doing to spread the love of God, please let me know so we can put it in the corner.
Well that’s about it, for now, take care and remember to serve the Lord with all you got!
Note to the youth: To help with printing and mailing costs, I try to send as many “complimentary copies” by email as possible. If you are receiving a “complimentary copy” by regular mail and you have email; please help me out. Send me your email address so I can email your Info to you. (sjrexroth@innernet.net); thanks much for your help!
