Nehemiah 10:38 And the priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites, when the Levites take tithes: and the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes unto the house of our God, to the chambers, into the treasure house.

As we enter into this thanksgiving season let us remember those that have great need. When your congregation makes up its' budget for next year, pray about increasing mission support. The needs are great; we cannot meet them all but we can do a little as God directs us. Editor

NIGERIA

REPORTS FOR THE MONTH OF September:

Abam/Abala, Pastor Christian Ogbuka: Attendance = 66 to 76, 3 new members added to the church. The month was ushered in by activities from our Pastor who was for most of the month of August absent due to the death and burial of his father. He engaged the congregation in three day's fasting and prayer. Once more the Spirit of God returned fully and many were revived. Some who were sick got healed and magnified God.

Need: Once more the congregation is looking forward for help from above. And for men to be touched concerning the church building project for our Camp Meeting is Just a month now to take off.

Umuahia, Pastor Cyriacus Nwachukwu: Attendance = 88 to 105; Five days revival held by the youths, it was a big revival ever in Umuahia congregation. The revival attracted many people especially two ministers from Christian Pentecostal Ministry. Mother's day was also celebrated as well. Our weekly activities went smoothly.

Omoba Isiala Ngwa, Pastor Ronald Iheanacho: For July: Attendance = 13 to 18; One soul saved. Activities included visiting the needy with cash& kind, house-to-house evangelism, visiting our brethren and bus evangelism.

Ehere, Aba, Pastor James Igbokwe: Attendance = 27 to 34; Activities included Wednesday Bible Study, Friday & Saturday Open air service or evangelical move man.

We are increasing day by day though these are needs which stop the expected turn up: the location of the church is at the market store, we have insisted for a better place the need is more than N70,000.00 ($500.00 +) to rent a land and erect a church building.

Calabar, Pastor Bassey Ekpe/Johnnie Austin: Attendance = 51 to 70; 2 souls saved; Activities included 1 day prayer, special prayer night, tarry night and house-to-house preaching.

We have not yet collected the keys to the place rented for our second location. Works in the place are not completed.

Eket Urban, Pastor E. David: Attendance = 26 to 37; 2 souls saved. Activities included 7-day prayer & deliverance crusade and house-to-house preaching.

I wish to bring over information that as the congregation is growing, the hall that we occupy cannot contain us any longer; please something should be done to help us out.

I need to state here that my wife is struck down with a sickness, which seemed to be a stroke with one side of the body and hand getting paralyzed. She is now receiving treatment in the hospital for over two months. I appeal for prayers and financial help.

Dear Bro. & Sis. Rexroth & Saints:

Christian greetings to you both with sister Rexroth and to all our loving supporters abroad in Jesus precious name. This report is for August activities that we would like to share you again saints.

August is a busy month for the Lord, revival and fellowship in Zone 3 & 4. In zone 1 Bro. Wesley is also busy repairing the parsonage in Osias. He also built one cute building for his Sunday School department just beside the chapel and back of the parsonage.

This week Bro. & Sis. Wesley was scheduled to hold revival in San Francisco and Pasta Agusan Del Sur. Beginning September 12-15, let us include them in our prayers that God will intervene in a marvelous way that this young brother and wife will be use to bring souls in the fold of God saved and sanctified. Amen.

Last week of August glad to visit the new work in Kulaman in the municipality of Senator Aquino, Sultan Kudarat and glad to meet all the brethrens who are requesting our visit for a long time. While with them have the privilege to preach and council those brethren who backslide because of unsettled problem, the Holy Spirit work until restitution was made that bring them back to Zion. Praise His Name.

Presently we are experiencing bad calamities. In Luzon typhoon and continuous rain destroyed their crops. Here in Mindanao green and brown hoppers attack the rice field of farmers and hinder their rice to bear fruits. In our evaluation God allow this to get the attention of the peoples to remember God and see their spiritual needs.

Our pastor training school is not open this year because we still need to prepare the building. So, I advise the conference treasurer to send the excess of the monthly offering for pastors for them to start the priority building. So we are praying much that the God whom we are serving will supply the needs thru the WMF our loving supporters.

Before closing we would like again to extend our much gratitude to our missionary minded supporters of their sincerity and love on supporting us in the Philippine mission. It is always our prayers to our great God of heaven to be responsible for the rebound.

Yours For His Dear Cause,
Bro. & Sis. D. B. Luzan

Dear Info Editor & Saints,

Holy greetings,

With the abounding mercy of God, His works here in Pasig, Antipolo & Nueva Ecija also root well. The heavy rains and typhoons brought us sicknesses and floods in Nueva Ecija that greatly destroyed our farming saints' crops leading some to repeat the planting and borrowing from loan sharks. Only once a year they can till their rain fed farms. They're really pitiful in their ruined rice fields and sunken houses. But despite of it we thank God that as we go there we see the grace of God in sustaining them to be thankful, hopeful and joyful still in serving Him in the midst of depression. For us to reach the highest house where we temporarily gather in our church services, the stronger brethren have to sacrificially pull bamboo rafts that we women and children could ride on.

First Sunday of September we conducted a seminar for church workers and officers in the place and was also well attended.

About His small school (Prep. To Elem.) in Pasig, it's also growing. Our enrolment increased from 215 pupils last year to 335 this year. In some ways the school also financially helps God's ministry in the Philippines.

In closing, we pray saints, God bless you more and more each passing day. Please continue to pray for my parents who really weaken physically. May He grant them still additional years and better health to supervise the work. Thanks for your unmeasured support.

Sis. Noemi L. Esteban

Onward March For River Ministry

I am pleased very much to inform you the development of River Ministry. The Lord enabled us to successfully complete the 6th River ministry. We started on 28th September and ended on 4th October 2003.

The purpose of this Gospel program is to evangelize the villages by preaching the Gospel of Salvation. On 28th evening we arranged a meeting in the village of Pinapuram. At 7 PM all the villagers gathered in meeting place. As our choir singing songs they were enjoyed in hearing.

While the choir was singing we heard a loud voice cried like anything. An evil spirit seized a woman and thrown her on the ground, all the villagers ran out, but we went to her and prayed. She was cured.

Again we heard big cry from the mob, a girl who was possessed by evil spirit fall down on the ground. It was raised and raised using bad words. Some of the villagers came forward to pastor K. B. Emmanuel and begged to deliver them from spirits.

From a long time they were suffering. Pastor K. B began to preached word of God from Luke 9:37, "The healing of a boy with an evil spirit". In the name of Jesus Christ we prayed and cast out those spirits.

We closed the meeting at 10:00PM and slept. On 30th morning we went on river ministry. Pastor Joseph 79 years old joined with us. From K. P. Putnam we hired a ferry and reached the village of Gummalla Dibba.

We preached the Word Of God and we went Thamminapatnam. At 7:30 PM we started an open air Gospel meeting. Young people acted a Bible story Play to attracted people to the meeting place. This is one of the methods to explain the Lord Jesus to the uncivilized and illiterate. Brothers gave wittiness. Pastor K. B. Preached the Word Of God Luke 14:15 about parable of the "Great Banquet" people were realized of their carelessness of great Salvation.

At 11:00 PM. We finished supper prepared by sister Jonse and sisters. Early in the morning we praised the Lord Jesus and went on preaching the Gospel. On 4th evening we conducted meeting in a village. Return of River ministry the LORD escaped us from the danger.

As we were sailing the boat was going to sink. The owner of the boat to earn the more money had taken more people into the boat. It causes to sink the boat. The Omnipotent Jesus with us in the boat and led us safely to the other shore.

We are very much thankful and grateful for your great help for Gospel van. Still it is not reached, it may be reached in few days. I am sending Audit report of society and estimation of four-wheel vehicle. The cost of $14,700 is in rupees 646,800.

With hearty thanks
Your servant,
K. Bobby.

Souls Care With Human Touch

The Fellowship of the church of God through the loving supporters taking care about the souls with human touch. This is one of the real story about a couple who were survived by God's grace.

In their own words: I was born in Hindu family and belongs to shepherd cast treated good caste. At the age of 3 months my poor mother kept me in a cradle and went to the fields but she had not come back for the lunch. As I was crying and crying for milk and became unconscious. I was very lean and unhealthy.

Our parents were illiterate. After some time my grand father came and saw that I was without any movements, then he thought that I was dead. In those days infant's deaths were more, and it was common to throw out dead bodies in to drains or compost pit. Like wise he also kept me in a pot and throw out. After my mother came to know and searched for me. She found me and noticed some movements in me and saved.

At the age of 22years I married a girl Rani from same caste. After some years passed I was attacked by bad disease. We went to many doctors but vain. Day by day my health became very bad. One day a Christian brother advised my wife to brought me to the church. We had a little faith in Jesus that He could healed, but when came to know that we got down in Christianity immediately they necked out from the house. They said that we believed in an untouchable community God. So I afraid and did not like to lost my parents for this sake. I said to my wife to change our decision but she said never. So our people excommunicated us.

Shame, difficulties surrounded us in this sorrowful condition we left our native place Godavari to Nellore. For some days we sheltered in bus stations. Without food and rest again my health was became very serious. No food and no work. In this desperate situation it was happened us to came to T. P. Gudur. My lungs were affected with tuberculosis, even Liver also damaged by Hepatitis.

Some people told me about Pastor K. B. Emmanuel. One evening I found him going to a meeting with much patience he heard our tragedy. With much love he showed us good shelter and provide some food materials. Regularly all the saints prayed for my good health, and I got medical care by him. The Lord saved me and healed. I got some strength in my body. He showed work in church construction mission. The doctors said that I am all right, praise the Lord He saved from the pit of sin and death. Recently we participated in river ministry.

We are thankful to WMF and all the saints whose hands are helping us in the church mission.

Truly Jesus is highly and only God.

Your servant,
David Raj,

HAITI

Revival! Revival! Revival!

If there's ever a time or place that revival is needed it's Haiti! It seems many times that Voodoo and black magic are so rampant in Haiti that there would never be a hope of revival starting. Oh but thank God, just when you think it's the darkest God sends His eternal light!! Isn't that just the way God is? He's able to take the darkest hour and turn it around just with a glimmer of His eternal light! We are so thankful here at Lifeline that we have been able to share the gospel of Jesus Christ to so many in Haiti as well as in the United States. God has truly made it possible for this very thing to happen. Oh, what a blessing to be in the center of His will!

Revival found it's way to La Digue. Pastor Steve Rauch and his wonderful wife Stacey, from Joy Acres in Lancaster, Ohio, came to Haiti for a time of revival. Pastor Steve spent the morning Friday fellowshipping and teaching with about sixty brothers and sisters. His focus was for the pastors in attendance and he spoke on being accountable before God and man. Sunday began the regular services with Pastor Steve preaching. Sunday evening was a time of prayer and singing with about 100 brothers and sisters in attendance. When I say singing, I mean SINGING and dancing and clapping and jumping and laughing. One thing the church of Haiti does well, is to have a good time fellowshipping with the family of God. Pastor Steve and Stacey were right in the middle of everything singing and dancing with all the church. At one point I think they were doing more dancing than the Haitians. After the service we had a dinner and fellowship with all the brethren. P

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday were times of teaching in the morning. After astor Steve presented his lessons he opened things up for questions. Much of the teaching that went on during the revival was during the question and answer sessions. Pastor Steve answered questions.

The church in La Digue was strengthened during this short revival. We thank God for His presence and pray that the lives touched during this past week will continue to produce fruit. We also thank the Lord for willing servants like the Rauch's who are willing to leave their three young daughters', Sarah, Susanna and Sydney for 10 days to share the gospel with the family of God in Haiti. Please pray that God will continue to bless them and keep them in their ministry in Ohio. If God is putting it on your heart to come to Haiti don't wait. It's a blessing that you will not understand until you see for yourself. God can use others, but why not let him use you.

We are preparing our schedule for the 2004 Pastor's seminars. If you are a pastor or minister and feel called to help us and would like to be a part of this very exciting chance to share and teach the gospel, then please give me a call.

YOUTH CORNER

It is once again time to visit down here on the corner. My prayer is that everyone is doing well and that God is blessing you. I know that many of you are just finishing up your first few months of school, and your loving it right?

I will now pause and give you a few minutes to fuss about school and the bad joke I just made.

PAUSE

Was that long enough? I sure hope so. Anyhow, October is upon us and that means Halloween for many people. You know as I look around at all the decorations and such that people have, I am reminded of when I was younger and everyone was deciding what they wanted to be for Halloween. I remember it was a big treat to decide what you were going to dress up like and who you wanted to be. I remember a time in kindergarten when my mom dressed me for our class party as a pumpkin. Can you imagine . . . . a pumpkin! I didn't want to be a Jack - O - Lantern. I thought it was pretty silly. But you know if you think about it, Jack - O - Lanterns are pretty neat. I mean think of the process the pumpkin has to go through. It starts as an ordinary piece of produce, then someone opens it up, scoops out all the goop inside, puts a face on it and fills it with a light. Then after all of that it is something that people will take notice of.

You know, we are like that pumpkin. We are just plain and ordinary until God opens us up, takes out all the goop, gives us a new face (or outlook) and puts His light in us. After God has changed us, we are something that people will take notice of.

Power Verse: Proverbs 4:18

Proverbs 4:18 But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. Well that is all for now, take care and remember to LIVE GOD LOUD!

FELLOWSHIP MEETING REPORT

Annual Fellowship day was held at The Church of God of Cumberland Valley, Shippensburg, Pennsylvania on September 27, 2003. A good time of fellowship and worship was enjoyed by all from near and far.

Bro. Norman Claypool brought the morning message, "On A Mission From God" from Gen 6:14, 7:11, Exo 3:10-14, Gen 45:7, Jonah 3:11, Psalms 12:1-2 & 8:28-29 He reminded us that God has a plan for us. Noah was faithful to the command of God. Moses was on a mission from God. Joseph was on a mission from God. God called on Jonah & told him to go on a mission and Jonah tried to run away from his mission. Balaam went on a mission when God told him not to go. God has a mission for you. To go on a mission from God, you must know Him as Lord & Savior.

Bro. Henry Marquiss brought the afternoon message, "But God" from Acts 12:28-30, Heb 12:5-6, I Cor 10:13, Jonah 1:1-4, 15-17, Gen 4:6-13, Luke 12:15, 15:3-7, 14-24 Matt 27:3-5 & Rom 5:6-8. He reminded us that God interrupts the Christian's world because He loves us. He works to bring wandering Christians back to the right way. Some ignore God's interruptions. God interrupts the sinner's world, He sends restraint, He sends a witness, He sends warning. Some respond to God's call like the prodigal son. Bro. Stanley Rexroth
