NIGERIA
REPORTS FOR THE MONTH OF JULY:
Abam/Abala, Pastor Cyriacus Nwachukwu: Attendance = 66 to 78, 1 soul won. Because of what happened to me, though God was in it all, evangelical outreach didn’t hold, we only based on our weekly activities including few days of praying and fasting. Yes, victory is won. Oh! Follow me and praise God! “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, God delivers them in all” Amen.
Umuahia, Pastor Christian Ogbuka: Attendance = 45 to 58. The month of July was too rainy. But the work of God is in season and out of season. So we seriously continue to explore for Jesus came to seek and to save. There was a baptismal class for the month of July to all part of August. Program and preparation for youth revival service is in top gear for the month of August ending.
Calabar 1, Pastor Johnnie Austin: Attendance = 55 to 67; 6 souls saved. In the month of July, we had a follow-up Revival every Sunday on salvation subsequent to what we have in June on Repentance. Six people gave their lives to Jesus as a result of the teaching.
We conducted our normal weekly activities on Wednesdays and Fridays. our newly introduced system, “Call them out” evangelism carried out every Sunday before Sunday school starts could not take place due to heavy rain fall almost every Sunday.
Similarly, there was no tarry night this month because of the 40 days fasting and prayers scheduled. What lowered our rapid growth are: 1. The high standard of truth I am holding, people want it lower. I said no. people don’t like it. But I can’t help it. 2. Our place of worship is not conducive or comfortable like in Babylon where these people came from. e.g.: No fan to calm heat, no sound system (Drumming Band) No public address system, at time, no electricity or generating plant, etc. Most of the people who came to our Church are visitors in the town. Most members move on transfers. Promise: I affirm, if these items such as: public address systems, amplifiers, speakers, piano, key board, generator, Microphones, tracts, bibles, evangelical Van and permanent place of worship are provided for me, I will pull heaven down because I aimed the sky as my limit. Thanks.
Calabar 2, Pastor Bassey Ekpe: Attendance = 20 to 42. 3 souls won. Evangelical Activities: The Revival continue here on salvation this time through out the month of July, this was centered on History of Salvation and Reasons for Salvation, these attracted members and also non-members, as well into the Church, the Fall of man through the sin of disobedience which brought about God’s plan for salvation of man Gen. 3/14-18. the weekly activities went on normally and 3 souls gave their lives to Christ, having heard the truth. Prayer and fasting continue till the end of the month, so as to usher in the dry season for a greater evangelistic work.
I shall continue to appeal to this body, the ministry that there has been no help give to Calabar 2 since it began. We use all our money in hiring chairs and table for members and visitors.
Omoba Isiala Ngwa, Pastor Ronald Iheanacho: Attendance = 13 to 20. We conducted fasting and prayers for three days and other revival prayers. I conducted house-to-house evangelism and visitations.
NB: Where we are staying is too strait, please we need land and Church building.
Ikot Edibon, Pastor Okon Jim Ibok: Attendance = 18 to 26; 2 souls saved. Evangelism activities: We conducted 3 days revival, fasting and prayer were held. Young people meeting were conducted. House to house Evangelism was visited.
Ikot Inyang Eti, Pastor Udobong Okon Essien: Attendance = 74 to 77; 5 soul saved 2 Baptized; Evangelical activities includes house to house evangelism, bible classes,
Three days Revival tarry night and thanksgiving service. May God bless.
Ehere, Aba, Pastor James Igbokwe: Attendance = 22 to 24. We have fourteen regular and saved members now. I am reporting from Ehere Aba, I am sorry I have not been specifying the numbers of people that were saved. More than fourteen people regular and saved. They are with us.
With my elders Okere Mma our effort were yielding great harvest thank you. So what I was reporting was my findings at course of planting or performing a new ground of church.
Activities: Daily prayer meeting: morning 5:30-6:30 Tuesday, women’s prayers: 8:00-12noon. Wednesday, bible studies: 5:30-7:00pm
Eket Urban, Pastor E. David: Attendance = 24 to 30; Activities: Evangelical Activities: Seven days revival meetings with the theme: Absolute Surrender” On the Church today, membership is not permanent. As some come in some also move out. As God is at work in the Church, we trust him that at last people will come to stay.
Obinze Owerri, Imo State, Pastor Albert Emeh: Attendance = 7-8; Greetings from the Church at Imo State.I travel to this place every Sunday on public transport for Church service. The distance from Umuahia to Owerri is about (40) miles away and it costs me N500.00 a trip. The sacrifice is apparent in view of what I receive from the community fund. People showed me an empty space of land to buy for church building, my reply to them is not encouraging since I am financially handicapped. Two (2) ladies promised to worship with us when we get a separate place of fellowship not in a man’s room. We go out on witnessing to people in our vicinity.
Please pray for my safety and God’s supply to meet transport cost every week to and from Owerri.
Evavalley Amafor Isingwu Umuahia, Pastor Comfort (wife of Albert) Emeh: Attendance = 28 to 31. Mrs. Comfort C. Emeh (the wife of Pastor Albert Emeh) who was trained in the same Bible College in Nigeria with her husband, serves the Lord side by side with her husband really loves the Lord. She mans this church for her husband but receives no token from any quarters to encourage her on the work she does to uplift the ministry. Please pray for strength and courage to do more for the Lord. Her life is a challenge to many women folk who were not opportune to be trained as a church worker. This month she taught in a 3 day seminar on “Principles of Parenting” many people rededicated their lives to God on “Parenting”.
The youths had their monthly prayer, vigil, and fasting beckoning on God to bless the work of Church of God (WMF) overseas and in Nigeria.
Mrs. Comfort has a ministry with the children every Sunday evening. The ministry is tagged “Catch them young for Christ” These children go out to bring other children to the church. They need children Bibles, Nice pictures and visual Aids. Please pray for this church that they many get money to complete buying public address equipment they embarked upon. What they need most now is a portable light Generator.
Pray for us as we do so for you.
REPORT OF THE REMEMBRANCE WEEK 12TH - 17TH JULY 2004 AT THE CHUCH OF GOD (UNIVERSAL) IKOT IKO, IBESIKPO, NIGERIA
We had a week programme to remind us of when God visited us in Nigeria and redeemed us in the year 1961. We assembled every evening to praise and worship the Lord God. We had a three days fasting and prayers and also anointing messages were preached to the people.
Monday Luke 1:66 - 80 was read. How Zacharias praised God for visiting his people and giving them the horn of salvation to save them from their enemies. Our greatest enemy is Satan and sin, we should accept and rejoice in Christ Jesus who is the only horn of salvation to the world John 3:16, Act 4:12 was read. People really enjoyed and praise God for His love to the world. Tuesday Psalm 106:6-23 was read David said we have sinned with our fathers, for they soon forget his works and walk not in His command (verse 13) they forget God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt (verse 21) we should not forget what God had done for us in Jesus Christ the horn of salvation and follow another way as the children of Israel did (verse 19) they made a calf and worshipped and brought upon themselves the wrath of God. There was much prayer after this message for God to help His people to be steadfast in the faith. Wednesday 2 Timothy 2:1-13 was read. Paul told Timothy to remember Jesus Christ of the seed of David who was raised according to His gospel (verse 8) wherein he suffered trouble as an evil doer (verse 9) Don't let suffering in anyway make you to deny the Lord the saviour. It's a faithful saying if we be dead with Him we shall also live with Him. If we suffer we shall reign with Him: Praise the Lord; this time there was much crying to God for help and forgiveness where they had denied Him. Thursday Galatians 5:1 was read Stand fast therefore in the liberty where with Christ hath made us free and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. When one is save the devil tries to draw him back to the bondage again. Continue ye, in the truth (the word of God) that will set you free if you sin, you are a servant of sin and a servant cannot live in the house for ever, John 8:31-36 was read. There were many questions and answers before we prayed.
Friday "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? 1 Corinth 6 9 -11 was read be very careful that no sinner is in the church of God. You have to repent of

your sins. Again 1 Corinth 5:9-13 the word said we should not keep company with a brother who is a fornicator or covetous or an idolater or a drunkard...put away from amongst you that wicked person. Many were blessed with this message so prayers were offered to God praise the Lord.
Saturday the last message was that Jesus will come again in His glory to judge the whole world. He will give to every one according to His deeds. We should do good works to receive good reward. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment but the righteous into life eternal Matthew 25:31-46 where will you spend your eternity? Jesus is coming soon. Many were blessed in the programme. Pray that the Lord help us to win more souls to the kingdom. Amen.

Mabuhay (Greetings),
From us in Davao seminary with our 8 students (5 male & 3 female); Aug 3 became our enrollment, orientation & ground preparation; Aug 4 we began our formal worship & classes. For the first semester, Aug 4 to Nov 12, our subjects are: Major: 1. The Church of God and its’ doctrine, 2. English, 3. Homiletics 1, 4. Pastoral administration, 5. Old Testament, 6 Evangelism; Minor: 1. Ministerial Ethics, 2. Church Worship/Music.
To minimize expenses, we divided the major subjects into 3 batches to be taught by just one visiting instructor with the support of a permanent resident couple (Pastor & Sister Samuel Luzan) to handle the minor subjects & in charge the registrar & monitoring.
As a part of the training, we had a three-day outreach service in Cotabato area (Katidtuan Bliss, Bannawag, Lower Paatan & Osias) wherein we preached, song choir & presented the seminary needs to the four congregations. I thank God for keeping us safe in our travels as well as providing power & strength to accomplish our outreach target. Thanks also for the strella jeep whom we used as our ride.
Presently, we resume with our hectic schedule classes & God willing by last Sunday of August, we’ll have extension Youth fellowship with the brethren in Cuambogan, Tagum before I finally return to Manila. Thanks a lot for all your extended support to the seminary & God Bless.

Report For The Month of June:
God has given me relief and high touch healing when I had a severe sickness. Now I am able to work more effectively to do God’s ministry. We have gained many new souls and gave baptism for the Lord’s glory.
My wife, Linda, and I traveled by bus to Pakalavaripalli where we with Pastor Stephen Raj arranged village gospel prayers under the streetlights. The members arranged mats to sit and pray. These people belong to low-income group who are mostly illiterates. They earn their bread & butter by basket making using bamboo sticks.
The final week our ministry entered into a Leprosy Colony and prayed for the sick going house-to-house. Pastor Joshua has taken charge to have fellowship & prayers for these families every week. Remember him in your prayers.
Your Humble Servant in the Lord,
K. Martin

YOUTH CORNER
Hello all, it's time again to catch up with the news on the corner. As summer is coming to a close, many of you are facing the winter blah's thinking about school and all the things that go with it. Thinking about new classes, new schools, college, it can be pretty scary. It can almost be overwhelming at times, but we must remember that God is in control. You know many times we can allow fear to stop us from experiencing what God has for us. The children of Israel were scared to go into the land of Canaan because of Giants (Numbers 13-14) Joshua and Caleb and Moses told the people that God was in control and He would give them the land but they were still afraid. We must not let fear rob us of the blessings God wants to give us. We may be afraid but we need to let God calm our fears. Remember God has not given us the spirit of fear.
Power Verse : 2 Timothy 1:7 "For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."
Summer in the Son
Has God done something great for you this summer? Was there an outing that was especially good, or a camp meeting that really meant a lot to you? Let us know, we would love to hear from you! Send it to me.
Well that about wraps it up for this time. Remember to Live God LOUD, and serve Him with ALL YOU GOT!
Living God Loud,

CAMP MEETING REPORT
We were privileged to attend the Burnside Church of God Camp Meeting on August 5 & 6. Bro. Gary Wood brought the afternoon message on August 5. He preached on “Bringing Men To Jesus” from Mark 2:1-12. He reminded us that through compassion, caring, commitment and cooperation we could bring needy souls to Jesus. Go tell family & friends what Jesus has done for you.
Bro. Ben Jordan preached the evening message: “Listen To Your Heart, You Have A “Sword” from 1 Samuel 17:50-54. He told us that we need to place the victories of our lives in our memory. Most Christians never appreciate what they have. We have a great sword. “If in one service your church would be honest, you would have revival”.
Friday morning, Bro. George Wilson preached “Fight The Good Fight” from 1 Timothy 6:12. He reminded us that as soon as you become a member of the Kingdom of God, you become a target for the other kingdom. “We fight for a cause not for ourselves. You will never be able to develop a commitment to a cause as long as you are drowning”. You must first be secure. If you expect to ask & receive from God, you must have a good relationship with Him. “A right relationship with God will release your faith”.
THANKS FOR YOUR PRAYERS
Dear Saints of God,
A sincere thank you to all who have prayed for me in my bout with leukemia. I have felt those prayers and my blood work and CAT scans have confirmed that there is no progression of the disease, though I’ve had no treatment. I experience some weakness, but God is truly faithful. I intend to do what I can in His kingdom for as long as He gives me strength.
Again thanks and God Bless.
