Psalm 41:1 “Blessed is he that considereth the poor; the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble.”

In 1989 a group of Church of God Ministers met in Arcadia, Ohio with the purpose of forming an organization that would structure our mission endeavors in a manner that would be more effective, more efficient and accountable. From that beginning emerged (WMF) World Missionary Fellowship, USA.

WMF continues to grow and at present consists of 41 delegates representing eighteen congregations or organizations. Annual membership dues of $20.00 per delegate go for general expenses and subscription to the Info+. No one person or congregation controls WMF. The delegates make all the decisions according to the established by-laws.

To those of you that are not members of WMF, let me encourage you to become members. If you would like a copy of the by-laws, please contact me.

We have no paid staff; all of our work is done on a volunteer basis. All money sent to WMF goes to the missions. The accounts are audited on an annual basis and are available for inspection by contacting the treasurer.

Let us work together for the advancement of the Kingdom of God. Editor

Report From WMF Bible College, Lagos, Nigeria

A seminar was conducted by the college to the women of the Church of God in Lagos on April 25. More than 300 people attended.

Sis. Ukeme E. Etefia taught on the topic “What The Lord Has For The Unmarried”, from 1 Cor. 6:L12-20 with emphasis on how the unmarried should use their bodies for God’s glory. She warned all to wait for God’s appointed time. That the greatest mistake someone can make in his/her life is to choose a wrong person in marriage. Therefore, every child of God should seek the will of God and hear from Him before he/she can go into it.

Sis. Uduakobong R. Usuanga taught on the subject “God Is Against Divorce”, from Heb. 13:1 with emphasis on the vitality of marriage. Love, caring, humbleness, respect, understanding, prayers & peace are required. The opposite leads to divorce. She said God hated divorce from the beginning. Marriage is a covenant, which should not be broken till death.

Sis. Imaobong Edet taught on “The Relationship B/W Husband & Wife” from Gen 2:21-24. She warned married women using several scriptures. She also instructed men with several scriptures. She narrated the problems of marriage to include: financial, sex, unfaithfulness, communication, habits, in-laws, housemaids & children. This session ended with testimonies and promises from both husbands & wives to go home and apply the word, which they received. At the end husbands & wives prayed for each other.

Onsite Evangelism

May 13, 2004

The Lord has done great things. As we were preaching in the streets, a couple came to us and requested to conduct a meeting in front of his house. In past he was a very against of the Lord Jesus and many times gave trouble to us to not preach the word of God in the streets. Sometimes he used vulgar words against of us. We bear all these patiently for Christ. But now we were surprised about his new behavior, with folding hands he requested us to pray.

Our team took this good chance to conduct the open meeting in front of his house. His wife and young children kneel down in the presence of the Lord. Pastor Bobby preached the love of God and power of God. Immediately they accepted Jesus as their personal savior. They express their desire to take baptism. Pray for this family.

River Ministry Report

May 22, 2004

28 team members went on the missionary tour. First we focused on coastal villages. Nearly 70 thousand fishermen live in 75 villages; Most fish in the Sea. Many are sitting in spiritual darkness; most of the missionaries are not having burden to preach in these villages.

We bought a megaphone, which is very useful for the street preaching. As we went singing in the streets, people gathered, then we preached to them. In every place people honored the Word of God.

Pictures show crowd gathering as we sang & our group crossing the river.

Your Servant,
Bobby

News From K. P. Paul

May 24, 2004

Dear Brother in Christ,

Greetings to you in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Who is the great Shepherd of the sheep watching over us day and night. It is a joy to be linked with the Church of God saints.

I desire to have fellowship to share our sorrows and burden in this present life. As some of you know, my father K. H. Paul left this earthly life to be with the Lord on 2nd November2003. Our hearts were filled with deep sorrow but the Lord comforted our saddened hearts with the hope of seeing him over in the Glory. I am doing Lord’s work and continuing the ministry, which my father left behind.

Ever since the Lord saved me, I am thankful and serving the Lord. I am doing pastoral duties for a small congregation as well as evangelical ministry. It is many ways, by conducting open- air (street) preaching, gospel meetings in Hindu localities, cottage prayer meetings, house-to-house visitation, printing gospel tracts and distribute thousands of gospel tracts at public gatherings using every opportunity. As a result of these outreaches, many come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and accepted as their personal Savior.

We rejoice seeing souls being saved. I associated with my father in the gospel ministry for the last several years. The work carried out with the help of the saints of the Church of God, who known to him personally -several times he attended several camp meetings at Newark.

We are really grateful for the support, which diligently and faithfully extended their love and kindness shown toward His dear cause. “FOR GOD IS NOT UNRIGHTEOUS TO FORGET YOUR WORK AND LABOUR OF LOVE, WHICH YE HAVE SHEWED TOWARD HIS NAME, IN THAT YE HAVE MINISTERED TO THE SAINTS, AND DO MINISTER. Heb.6: 10.

While my father did not leave us a lot of worldly goods, he left behind some thing that all the bulging accounts of all the multi-millionaires couldn’t buy- faith in God, trusting Him, depending on Him, taught by my sweet, godly Christian father.

We have many plans to have gospel meetings. We are planning to hold 4 days gospel meetings from 14th of June, during daytime preaching the gospel on the streets and night’s gospel meetings. The expenses would cost approximately 600 US dollars. We are praying to God for the needs to provide. We cannot accomplish alone. If each one helps a little the expenses of the meetings will be, such as tents rent, lighting arrangements, diesel generator rent, have to arrange simple food to the attendees as they come from far off and different villages, transportation. Our congregation is not able to contribute because they financially poor but we pray and look unto the Lord and leaned upon Him. An update of the meetings will be sent to WMF info+. Free will contributions/donations sent to this ministry will be thankfully received as from the Lord.

Please pray for us that our labors will be effective in seeing souls saved and the work of the Lord promoted and also kindly pray for the meetings and partake with us in our attempts.

You may share this burden with the brethren of the church. Whosoever God leads to help us should send their donation in favor of K. P. Paul, PC 504 for safety of the check.

Your respond will be a great source of encouragement.

Thanking you,
Your Brother in His service,
K. P. PAUL Romans 10:15

YOUTH CORNER

Just the other day I stumbled upon some old baby pictures of myself. I was looking at them and laughing at how funny I looked, and how not much has changed. As I thumbed through the pictures, memories just came flooding back to my mind. Some happy, and some sad, pictures of good times and even pictures of friends and family that was no longer around. As I strolled down this photographic memory lane I noticed something about myself in every picture. I realized that I always had my head tilted toward the sky, I was always looking up. I wondered why that was, then I remembered.

You see, when I was born my eyes were horribly crossed and the only way that I could focus on anything was to tilt my head up so that my eyes could get a clear picture. As I thought of that, I thought how true that was in my journey with God. Really we only get a clear picture of life and His plan for us in it when we look up. Now I know what some of you are thinking, “I can’t just walk around with my head in the air all the time I will fall and worse yet people will think I am arrogant.” I am not talking about that, I am talking about looking to God for our strength and not putting our focus on this life. So many times I know that I look down at my situation and it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. It is only when I look to God that I get the clear picture.

Power Verses: Psalm 121:1-5 The Lord the keeper of Israel A Song of Ascents: “1. I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From where shall my help come? 2. My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. 3. He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber. 4. Behold, He who keeps Israel Will neither slumber nor sleep. 5. The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade on your right hand.”

That’s it for this time, take care and remember to keep looking up! Living God Loud,
