Psalm 122:1 I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.

We are so blessed in this country to have so many nice buildings to go into to worship our Lord. Many places in our world long to have a house of the Lord. In Nigeria the saints build one block & one bag of cement at a time, often taking years to complete a humble house of worship. Notice below the unfinished building of Abam/Abala, which they have been working on for over two years. Pray that God will touch hearts to complete this project. Editor.

Abam/Abala, Pastor Cyriacus Nwachukwu: Attendance = 54 to 72. One soul saved. Our normal activities continue. We held three days prayer for the growth of the Church and to tell God to finish the work, which He started, by completing His worship house, which he started. Visitations and house caring or house fellowship is not properly carried out because of rain.  We need help to finish the house because Ronald's marriage will commence or take place there, this coming month.

Umuahia, Pastor Christian Ogbuka: Attendance = 50 to 63. The church at Umuahia is marching on to great height in its progress.  Baptismal class is going on for those that should be baptized. The church has started clearing of the site for a work to commence, uprooting of stumps and leveling of the ground are the major work, which has been taking much of our time and money. We appeal for fund to help us in the building

Calabar 1, Pastor Johnnie Austin: Attendance = 50 to 63. House-to-House Evangelism was conducted throughout the month because rain had subsided.  It yielded some positive result that is why there was increase in almost all the Sundays. Wednesdays and Fridays are our Bible class and thanksgiving service respectively.  A man with demonic attack since 1991 was healed during our Tarry Night on Friday the 8th.  Praise God!

APPEAL: We are handicap.  We are please appealing to our WMF members and other Spirited persons for public address systems such as: Small Generating Plant, Loudspeakers and Amplifiers to enable us carry out Seminars and Street Public Preaching to win more souls during this dry / Christmas Season. Thank you and May God bless you.

Calabar 2, Pastor Bassey Ekpe: Attendance = 35 to 56. One soul saved. Evangelical Activities:-  There is a Continuous Evangelical movement around and far in the town, this time because, now is dry season, so people can move around. Through many souls turn out for Bible Class and other church activities, including prays, but only one person who came back to Calabar from Lagos, by Name Archibong, gave his life to Christ. Total neglect about Calabar church of God since it was started here, by the Ministry.  So I need chairs, table, a lamp to use when electricity is not there, and, I keep on hiring chairs, a table, a lamp with other equipments chairs N5,000, Lamp N1,000.  Table N3,000, the rent for two years which I have not paid for the (N36,000) which N18,000 a year and N1,500 a month.  What about the project money for Calabar.  Remember that no assistance from this Ministry yet.  Consider this being urgent in a bit to use some of this thing to win souls. Souls are perishing.

Omoba Isiala Ngwa, Pastor Ronald Iheanacho: Attendance = 16 to 24. House to house visitation was conducted on Saturdays 2nd, 9th, 16th and 30th of the month.  Bible Studies and Revival prayers were conducted on every Mondays in the month and Fridays for prayers.                 Obinze Owerri, Imo State, Pastor Albert Emeh: Attendance = 7-9. Greetings from this church, the only church of WMF Imo State. Series of calls have been made to fully register the presence of WMF in the State, it seems deaf ears are being paid to the calls.  Now another person has showed us another plot of land for house building.  Pastor Christian Ogbuka has agreed to go with me to see the Land - by next week. This makes it the second piece of land.  I did not go there one of the weeks due to lack of money to carry the transport cost. I might stop if no help comes from any quarters to help start this church. Thereby I retire to Umuahia (Iva Valley) church to help the work there.

Evavalley Amafor Isingwu Umuahia, Pastor Comfort (wife of Albert) Emeh: Attendance = 21 to 31. Thanks to God for His grace upon this Church.  Although, it rained heavily as a result of Rainy Season in the Country.  All our church activities were managed to hold.  The Lord added to us one boy this month.  We are praying and preparing for our Annual End of year thanksgiving Service to the Lord. We are appealing for financial assistance to pay our rents.  We are grateful to WMF and hopefully one day, God will touch someone to come to our help. We are seriously praying for smooth running of WMF International. Thanks and may the Lord of the Harvest bless His work.

CHURCH OF GOD (UNIVERSAL) IKOT IKO IBESIKPO ASUTAN L. G. A.

SEVEN-DAY PRAYER & FASTING PROGRAMME October 14 - 24.

DAY ONE: MONDAY TOPIC: Christian attitude towards God. Teaching on this topic directs that we should love God with all our heart, soul and might. Bible reading was taken from Deut. 6:5; Mk 12:30; Lk. 10l27

                DAY TWO: TUESDAY: TOPIC: Our attitude towards Jesus. We must love, obey and suffer with Him. Failure to do so, this brings external damnation. Jn. 14:23; Acts 3: 22-23;

Rom. 8:19 were used to support the teaching.

                DAY THREE: WEDNESDAY:

TOPIC: The Christian attitude towards Holy Spirit. A SINNER CANNOT BE SAVED EXCEPT through the conviction power of the Holy Spirit. You can receive power after that the Holy Spirit is come upon you. To remain a child of God, one must maintain a proper attitude towards the Holy Spirit, to guide, to teach, and to lead to all truth. Rom 8: 14; Jn. 14: 26.

                DAY FOUR: THURSDAY:

TOPIC: Our attitude towards brethren and neighbors Jn. 3: 34. Love one another as I loved you. Loving one's neighbor as oneself. Mk. 12: 31; Lk. 10: 25-27 were used.

                DAY FIVE: FRIDAY:

TOPIC: Our attitude towards our enemies and sins Matt. 5: 43 - 44. Jesus said, love, bless, do good and pray for your enemies. As for sins, a Christian must hate sins. If we hate sin, we shall depart from then. Psalm 97: 10.

DAY SIX: SATURDAY: 23RD TOPIC: Keep thy heart with all diligence for out it are the issues of life. Pro. 4: 23. Wrong attitude spoils a Christian and Jesus said not all that call Him Lord will enter the Kingdom of God, so we should ask God to give us a clean heart and a new spirit to live the Christian life. There was a question and answer time. Many testified to God's wonderful work in their lives.

DAY SEVEN: SUNDAY: TIME: 9:00AM. There was much praying as the prayer week was rounded up. TOPIC: Draw nigh to God and He will draw nigh to you. Do not be double-minded Christian. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and they shall prosper that love thee. We should pray for the growth along with unity of the Church of God. This is God's will. The Spirits anointing reigned in the meeting. A minister from a denomination longed for God's touch and was prayed for. A pregnant sister delivered and gave up the ghost but was later revive through much praying by the Church. She is very much alive now with the baby. Glory be to God.

I thank the Lord for the work over here. We are expecting answers to our prayers. We are in need of material support for the work. God bless you all in Jesus name. Amen.

PHILIPPINES

October 18,  2004

Dear Bro. Rexroth and Saints,

Greetings to you and all our loving supporters in Jesus precious name. It is our earnest prayer to our almighty father that this report will reach you all in good health and spiritually.

For us in the Philippine Mission by His grace the work He entrusted to us still in the winning side and moving forward in spite of great opposition. Even though successive typhoons visits the country with heavy rains it never go beyond flooding like in other places, only it affects much our poor farmer brethren that business men took advantage to buy their rice farm crops in a very low price.

Our Pastoral Training School is going on. Last week I was privilege to preach to the student during their Chapel hour challenging them to be faithful, sincere and continue their calling till they reach their goal. I also inform them that WMF is carrying the load the honorarium of the visiting instructor, their plane ticket round trip and their board and lodging including the resident minister. So their stay in the Seminary is very precious because somebody are carrying the load. In addition to the help from WMF all local churches in the Philippine Mission also helping by taking their offering last Sunday of the month for the electric, water and other expenses. Thanks for your continuous support every month for the ministry and our Seminary. May our good Lord give you more rebound.

Glad to inform that one Chapel was completed this month in Aquino Municipality. The size is 18 X 36 feet. Only they are still painting the outside. Thanks for Pastor Dave DeVoll and congregation in Coulter's Church of God who funded this church building. This is their second memorial building in Philippine work. First is the Boy's Dorm and branch office of the national office in Del Pilar, Ma-a, Davao City; part of the Church of God Seminary.

Closing with our much love and gratitude to all our dear supporters for His cause.

                Yours For His Dear Cause,

                Bro. & Sis. D. B. Luzan Jr.

November 16, 2004

Greetings in Jesus Wondrous Name,

As of present God's work in P. I. goes also well. Of our almost two weeks school semester break, the churches had local activities like revivals, doctrinations, ordinances observance etc. We, in Nueva Ecija had it last week of October with Pastor Fajardo and family being used while in Pasig and we had it first week of November with Pastor Rolando Luzan and family being used. I can say from the member's testimonies, they were really reactivated. Also as a result there were new conver4ts baptized - ten in Nueva Ecija and seven in Pasig. May God help them grow in their faith.

As of now we're already preparing for the December youth convention wherein we're the host in Pasig.  May our Lord provide sufficiently all the needs and make the event successful. Warm regards to your loved ones and saints there.

                In Prayer,

                Sis. Noemi L. Esteban

Pastor's Meeting Report:

The meeting started with many blessings of the Lord. We felt the Lord prepared the fence around the Church of God in India by His love and your kind efforts, prayers and loving support. The Lord's work is extended in all aspects. The pastors working happily and perfectly for the church of God. They expressed the profound belief in the Lord and the doctrines of the Church of God. As it was started with tears, many were discouraged and mocked like anything. Now the Lord wiped out the tears and made fence around it by the generosity of the saints of the church of God.

The people understood the God is God of church of God. They recognized its' power and humble service. In the pastor's meeting all the pastors praising His name for He had remember the downtrodden villages before this the darkness was covered all over the villages. Now the true light shining over the people that who sat under the shadow of the death.

The Heavenly Father manifests himself in many ways at times through miracles. One such miracle is the association and collaboration of Fellowship of the church of God of United States of America. His mission is to not merely take Word of God to the unreached millions but to perpetuate the message in remote & hitherto untouched rural India. The Fe pastors said all the church buildings may stand as the lighthouse to show the way that lost the way. The heathen recognized the works of the Lord had done among them & astonished & slowly expressed their belief in the Lord.

After the lunch break the meeting started again with the message of Father Wood. Pastor Bobby opened the Laptop & found the message & translated it. There is no facility to print out or make copies in T. P. Gudur. Bobby will make copies when he goes to Nellore. The message of the Cross greatly inspired the pastors.

Pastors Martin, Premnath & K. P. Sekhar shared the Word of God. A two-wheel vehicle was presented to Pastor P. Premnath. He expressed hearty thanks.

                Your Servant,

                Bobby

YOUTH CORNER

It is that time again to find out what is happening in the youth corner. My prayer is that this finds you well and encouraged in the Lord.   I know that your lives are probably full of all kinds of things.  Some of you, I am sure at this writing are discouraged well don't lose hope.  Here is a story that might help, or at least make you smile.
Some time ago I was talked into going to the gym with a friend of mine.  Well I went but lets just say I wasn't happy about it.   I walked into that place, all 5 foot 3 of me, ready to pump some iron.   I tried different machines but I just was having the hardest time doing these things.  I saw all these guys lifting weights bigger than I was and they had muscles bulging out of their ear lobes, and I just felt so weak.   I was feeling pretty weak and ashamed, until my friend said let me help you.  At first I didn't want him to, I thought to myself "I am a man, I don't need his help!"  Then I faced the fact that I couldn't do it on my own, it was a weakness.  When I allowed him to help me and encourage me I could lift those weights and push that leg machine.  As I thought about this later, I am reminded of what Paul said in 2 Corinthians 12:9 that in Paul's weakness, God was able to show His strength.   You know so many times we focus on our weakness or our failures or if you were like me you don't want to admit them at all.   Well you know it is not until we recognize that we are weak without God and that it is "in" our weak times that God can truly work in us and through us. So if you are struggling, confess your weakness to the Father, in fact don't try to hide it but embrace it so that God can work through it.    It wasn't until I let my friend help me that I could lift those weights, and it  is time that you let God help you lift those weights of weakness and together you can hold them high and become stronger in the faith.
Power Verse:  2 Corinthians 12:9 "   9   And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."

REVIVAL REPORT

We were privileged to attend one night of revival, Oct 25 at Robinwood Church of God in Hagerstown, Maryland. The evangelist, Bro. Bill Neece, preached on "There's Absolutely Nothing Too Hard For God" from Genesis 12:6-7, 17:1, 18:1 & 14. He reminded us that God fulfilled every promise that He made. No prayer is too hard for God to answer. "God is not limited by our situation, there is no problem that God can't solve." There is not a place too hard for God to bring revival. There is n o person too hard for God to save.
