Galatians 2:9-10 9And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision. 10Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to do.
Two things are on my heart this month. First the Minister's meeting coming up March 8-11 in Dunn Loring, VA. My prayer is that God would grant The Church of God Leaders the wisdom to perceive the grace that God has granted to others. Let us extend the right hand of fellowship to those that God is using even though their ministry is different from ours. We have different gifts & abilities; let us come together to encourage, help and strengthen each other rather than work to hinder what our Lord is doing.
Second: Remember the poor by praying for and financially supporting the many efforts to help them. A CRUSADE is planned for October this year. It has the potential to reach 1,000 or more for Christ. This is a costly effort but then how much is one soul worth? Over $13,000.00 is needed for the crusade. So far nearly $2,000.00 has been donated.
Up to six ministers plan to participate paying their own way for travel, food & lodging ($3,000.00 + each). At this time, Bro. Henry Marquiss, Bro. Rube Gayheart, and I are committed to go. The Crusade will run 4 days & nights with seminars through the day & evangelistic services at night. Following the Crusade the team will visit various churches which WMF supports preaching and teaching for four weeks. Please pray for this mission journey and help us raise the needed $11,000.00. Abam/Abala, Pastor Cyriacus Nwachukwu: Attendance = 67 to 74. One soul saved. We held a mini camp here in Abam/Abalankamiri. TOPIC: 'YEAR OF RESCUE' which lasted for 3 days coupled with praying and fasting for more open doors and for God to bring more souls into His Kingdom. We had many visitors, who worshiped with us on Dec. 26. God actually moved in our midst.
Umuahia, Pastor Christian Ogbuka: Attendance = 46 to 92. This month recorded a beehive of activities of various kinds. But for us we had our outreach coupled with our program of activities of 24th - 26th Dec. Thank God for response of the people.Happy New Year to all WMF Members.
We thank God who has brought us to a new and another year of active service to our Creator. We continue to love and Cherish your Godly efforts in supporting the gospel here in Nigeria, especially the periodical stipend for the Ministers which has remained constant without fail. What a great support, what a great endeavor, what a spirit of oneness existing between you people. Your word has always been your bond.
You have not injured us at all in anything. But if we have offended you in word at anytime, please forgive us. We call to mind the present idea you have hatched which is still in the pipeline and that is your idea to get the Pastors become self-supporting in a skill of their choice. Quoting from your adage in the INFO: "Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day, teach him to fish and he will eat for life". With this in mind, we welcome your idea and pray that it will be accomplished. Thank God for a Prosperous Year in 2005.
Calabar 1, Pastor Johnnie Austin: No report
Calabar 2, Pastor Bassey Ekpe: Attendance = 46 to 62. 3 souls saved. This month look promising pointer to what, that would come up this year 2005. This is because Evangelism for the month was a high success, as two families came in with their children and gave their life to Jesus. The movement was centered around the church neighbour. Weekly meeting went on as usual. There was a prayer and fasting, which took place from 24th-31st. First of Jan was a new year Thanks Service with a large turn out of both old and new members. May I here remind the Ministry that Calabar II still need Big Table and Equipments. The help for Calabar Project as others have got e.g Umuahia and Abala Nkamiri.
What about Individual Project let us this year make a New Year Resolution to serve God with all seriousness.

NB: The place we are staying is too straight for us to stay and in addition it is school premises which sometimes the school pupils use to made away with our chairs and play with our benches. So we urgently need a land and we can quit there at any time. The prices of land at Omoba is not costly, we are praying for you all.

Eket Urban, Pastor E. David: Attendance: 15 to 21. Evangelical Activities: A Three-day retreat was held from 23rd - 25th with the theme "STEWARDSHIP" if one is appointed to take care of a little thing, then God is ready to move him to a greater responsibility if he could account for these things well.
Evavalley Amafor Isingwu Umuahia, Pastor Albert Emeh: Attendance = 28 to 34. This month was a busy month. All our activities were in top gear. We held our annual Thanksgiving Service series of Preparations were made and everybody were very happy with all the people in attendance. After the Thanksgiving Service the Lord supplied us one new megaphone through one over joyous member. It was believed by the youths of the church as an answer to their prayers. Since then we have been using the megaphone in open air preaching. We believe God for more blessings and new things to come.
PHILIPPINES
THE BIBLE HOLINESS CHURCH OF GOD
District Youth Conventions 2004 Report
December 23-27, 2004
Dear Bro. Rexroth and Saints,
A blessed New Year's greetings from us in the Philippines.
Done with our two District Youth Conventions, what a pleasure to write what transpired in both. With the brevity of December vacation, we held the gatherings in same dates but separate venues - PASIG CITY for Luzon while DAVAO CITY for Mindanao. It was a wonderful privilege for us workers, our young people and host congregations to close the year alive physically and spiritually and most, be in Godly feast with our fellow people of God in refreshing our souls by the activities we went through.
In Mindanao, there were 22 congregations represented. One has newly affiliated from San Miguel, Surigao. They came out from Protestant - Wesleyan Church. Including seminary trainees, there were 48 gospel workers and 146 registered delegates. In Luzon, ten congregations joined the event (with one absent - Naguilian), 16 workers and 144 registered delegates. Sad to inform that one of our pastors - BRO. ASUER ASISTEN (formerly destined in Pasandalan, Lebak Church) passed away this vacation. He left a widow and no child. We ask your prayer that may God comfort her in the advance going to heaven by her loved one.
Despite freshness of revival meetings in local churches in the months of October to November wherein baptism ordinance just conducted, the altar of God when opened was often knelt by humbling souls and at the last day of the occasion 27 new converts were baptized.
Utilizing the event to its fullest, we had two services daily, Bible Studies / Doctrinations every morning, Business meetings for both Ministers and Youths, Bible challenge, singing contest, Ball Games, Parlor Games and Fellowshippings in the afternoon. Winners in the said contests were also acknowledged and given complimentary prizes at the closing Sunday night service.
For our Convention Theme, we used the envisioned question of Saul in Acts 9:6b, "LORD, WHAT WILT THOU HAVE ME TO DO?" Our objective - to awaken the young people's practical love and concern to answer God's call for them in the ministry or become active partner of God in His church endeavor. With the victorious results of youth conventions and seminary challenge, we prayerfully expect more young people to enter the seminary training next school year 2005-2006 to prepare their lives for the Master's work.
To close, we endlessly appeal to you our supporters to please continue bearing with us in the Philippine mission projects and supports. As of present, our urgent needs are the transfer of San Francisco Chapel to its new site as with the recent survey, half of it is part of other's lot that unconsiderably demand to have it already walled. The second priority need is a chapel for the new congregation in San Miguel, Surigao. We pray that God will supply the needs for the projects to be materialized.
A double portion of God's blessings be upon you again this year 2005.
The Youth Convention Journal will just follow to be mailed.

Father & Mother Wood & all the Saints of WMF,
Precious greetings and hearty thanks in the most holy and highly name of Jesus.
Mother Wood is Ordained Sis. Jonse and some other sisters for the Mission of "Every home for Christ". On 5 January they started the mission. Mother Wood taught them about the responsibility of preaching to every neighbor women. They understood the heart's burden of Mother Wood and followed immediately. In this mission they received a tremendous response. An examples for this follows.
In their own words: "In the part of Every home for Christ we went to a Hindu Orthodox family and knocked the door but for some time there was no reply from the house. As we want to come back a lady came out with her little son. We introduced ourselves to her and explained about our mission. As we began to preach the love of God she requested and said before hearing our words. Let me say about our pathetic condition, she began to explain. "I am belong to high cast and financially in good position. Recently we started Aqua culture. In the beginning we earned much profits, but to gain more again we invested every thing in the culture for that we borrowed from others. Unfortunately we got heavy loss; everything we have invested was in vain. To pay our debits we prepared to sell our house and lands even though it is not enough to settled down the problems.
In this distress and despondency we have prepared to kill ourselves by taking poison. At the same movement we heard that someone was knocking at the door. If you did not knock at the door we should die. What ever it may be your visit stopped us from suicide attempt. Let me know can your Lord saved us?" the sisters team preached the Word of God. The God so loved the world and He gave His begotten son. She realized by the Word and agreed to pray in the name of Jesus. Now she has a great thirst for Jesus. We request to you please pray for this family. What a wonderful experience and result of mission "Every home for Christ"" For this we praise God.
Your Servant,
Bobby

My name is Laksluni. I am 28 years old. I was born in Hindu High caste (Roddy) family. Since 8 years I had been suffering with white discharge. I visited many hospitals but I could not heal my sickness due to my ill health. Physically I became weak and pale. On Dec 7, 04 I visited Fe Church of God preaching service at V. P. Nagar to get blessings from visiting Godly missionaries. I have poured my heart and opened the problems to them. Pastor Allen prayed keeping his hand on my head burden fully. I found my white discharge was stopped and I become fully healed. Thanks to the Lord!

Dear Brethren,
Greetings to you in the name of Jesus our Lord and Saviour. The words of the prophet Isaiah comes to mind today. Is 9:6-7 .. thank God for the child born .. the Son given. He has become my all in all. May His government and resulting peace ever increase in our souls. And may the advancement of His kingdom have the preeminence in our hearts and lives.
The purpose of my writing is to inform you of an urgent need in the mission in Guatemala. One of our schools there is in need of 40 child sponsors before the startup of school on January 25, 2005. This sponsorship is $20.00 monthly. With this support the child will receive: uniforms, books, medical attention and a hot meal every day. This will make a difference in the lives of precious children whose parents are too poor to provide them this basic help. Will you prayerfully consider helping us at this time? Perhaps you could put this work in your mission budget. A Sunday school class, a youth group or just a few joining together can accomplish this task. If you are able to help please direct all contributions to: Church of God Evangelistic Association, 4055 Wren Ave., Lakeland, FL 33813. For more information phone Bro. John Collins 863-644-7543. Thank you for your prayers and past support.
Our prayer for each of you is that God will direct your paths and prosper your efforts in His great work in the coming year. Keep us in your prayers.
In His Service,
Harold & Linda Kelly
YOUTH CORNER
Hello everyone it's time again to visit the corner to see what God has for us. Can you believe that it is already 2005? I know I can hardly believe it. Another year has passed and now we have a whole new year to Live God Loud! To serve Him with all we've got!
The question has come up to me several times how to serve Him with all we've got? Well think of it this way, many of you are driving now and/or you have friends who drive and you ride with them. Have you ever been somewhere and ran out of gas? The only thing that was going to get that car going again was some good old gasoline, some fuel right?
We need to let God fuel us. Everything we do needs to be controlled and powered by God and His will for you. David was fueled by God's love and a willingness to serve Him. Just listen to what David says in our POWER VERSE:
Psalm 63:8 "My soul followeth hard after thee; thy right hand upholdeth me."
David had the pedal to the metal in living for God. He followed hard after God. He wasn't chasing after other things. He was fueled by following hard after him. Everything he did he wanted God to be glorified.
What are you fueled by?
That is all for now, if you have any questions or comments you would like to share on the corner please let me know.
