(NLT) Romans 10:13-15 13For “Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”£

14But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? 15And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”£

Our Lord has commissioned four of us to go on a Missionary journey in Nigeria. Bro. Henry Marquiss, Bro. Rube Gayheart, Bro. Len Gongola and I are to depart October 10 and return November 7. September 12, 2005

Dear Father Wood and Mother Wood,

Praise God for the cherishing past splendid years success and triumph in the Lord’s ministry especially in the pastors conference. We are thankful and grateful to all our saints are stretching precious hands and pouring wonderful blessings over His servants.

It is very glad to say up to now that nineteen pastors meetings have been completed in the name of FELLOWSHIP OF THE CHURCH OF GOD, a registered organization. For all this your endeavors and supporting help never went in vain. Especially we are blessed more by the Lord in winning new souls. This pastors meeting issue has a tremendous amount of help in understanding and running our ministries and worship services at all our churches.

The 19th pastor’s meeting was held on 31st August 2005 at Pastor John Rao’s church, the First church of God was established by Pastor John. S. Rao a recognized pastor to some of the saints in the United States of America. He was slept in the Lord on 4th July 2004.Pastor John’s death was a great shock to all his family and saints especially his son pastor Bobby. At that same moment we felt that it was hard to face the fact that we must live the rest of our ministry life without him, but the great Lord tremendously raised His noble servants in America and send to India as His great missionaries to protect and strengthen this ministries of church of God. Here some were thought that this ministry may fall down after he died and some tried to spoiled the work but the Lord marvelously blessed seven folds through His appointed Missionaries. Now the same work is continue victoriously in the name of Fellowship of the church of God, found by Father Wood and Mother Wood. All the work is entrusted to pastor Bobby. He is the only authorized Pastor for this ministry.

I am thankful for your kind recognitions about great task which we are accomplishing through your unspeakable support. Your recognition is motivating me to continue an active participation the task which are given by noble missionaries are more meaningful..

The meeting is started at 10:30 A.M by the messages of an Evangelist Raja. He preached about the Moses and his calling. Pastor Prabhaker from the Village of Kokku palem shared his ministry report and his ministry experiences with pastor John. S. Rao.

After the lunch break a pastor Moses from a distance place who was a good friend and class met of Pastor John during the Bible training, he was attended and encouraged us by the Word of God. All the Fe pastors submitted the progress report of ministry. They said in every church 10 to 15 new souls are accepted Jesus as their personal saviour and coming regularly to the Sunday worship meeting, and they all are ready to take water Baptism. While the Pastors submitting this fruit full report all the remaining Pastors were praising the Lord for His great salvation. As we are having great concern about new church buildings to fill the number of souls, by all your prayers, endeavors and unspeakable gifts, the Lord blessed the ministry with new souls. The Lord’s ministry is extended into many villages. The church building in every village is a Beacon that gives light those that are living under the shadow of death.

For this meeting 30 Pastors attended with their families. Pastor Martin and Pastor Premnath shared brief message of Disciples of Lord Jesus Christ and Heroes of Old Testament. Sister Jonse prepared special dishes to all Pastors and to every. Pastor Bobby and FELLOWSHIP OF THE CHURCH OF GOD COMMITTEE shared the blessings of Father Wood and Mother Wood and community church of God. Sister Lalithamma gave special instructions to the pastors about the Fellowship of the church of God. At the end of the meeting pastor Bobby gave an announcement about Coming of noble missionaries  lead the pastors into the prayer and offered special prayers for Mother Wood and team’s Missionary journey to India. Every one in the Fellowship prayed and expressed to all the saints of WMF and Pastors. Closed the 19th Pastors meeting with many blessings.

                Your humble servant,

                 Bobby.

YOUTH CORNER

Hello everyone it’s time to visit the corner again and see what God has for us.   It is hard to believe that September is gone and October is almost upon us.   My prayer is that while you have started school, you are serving the Lord with all you got!
The question has come up to me several times how do serve Him with all we’ve got?  Well think of it this way, many of you are driving now and/or you have friends who drive and you ride with them.  Have you ever been somewhere and ran out of gas?  The only thing that was going to get that car going again was some good old gasoline, some fuel right?
We need to let God fuel us.  Everything we do needs to be controlled and powered by God and His will for you. David was fueled by God’s love and a willingness to serve Him.  Just listen to what David says in  our POWER VERSE: Psalm 63:8  “My soul followeth hard after thee; thy right hand upholdeth me.” David had the pedal to the metal in living for God.  He followed hard after God.  He wasn’t chasing after other things.  He was fueled by following hard after him.  Everything he did he wanted God to be glorified. What are you fueled by?    Are you fueled by God?  Can you say as the opening lines of the Spoken For by Mercy Me: “Take this world from me . . . . my heart is spoken for.”                          SYATP
In September, many young people participated in the annual See You At The Pole.  This event is a student sponsored event where the student body gathers at 7:00 a.m. around the flag pole to pray for the school year, the students and teachers.   I was encouraged by a young man’s story that participated in this event.  His family was going through some difficulties and he was very discouraged but he knew there was power in prayer.   He loved the Lord and he was excited to participate in See You At The Pole this year.   He had a SYATP bracelet and was ready for the big day.  He had arranged for some other Christian peers to join him in prayer.  He was disappointed to find out that none of them showed up.   He wanted to give up but he stood firm, and prayed at that pole by himself.   As he prayed, he faced ridicule from his peers and even snickers from some teachers, BUT THROUGH IT ALL HE STAYED.
I was encouraged by this young man, even when I want to give up I think of the young man who in kneeling in prayer took a stand.
Did your youth group participate or did you specifically? I would love to hear about it.   Please send your stories and pictures to me.          Remember to Live God Loud! Let God fuel your life!

FELLOWSHIP DAY REPORT

Friends and family gathered together from near and far on September 25 at The Church of God of Cumberland Valley, Shippensburg, PA.

Bro. Rube Gayheart preached the morning message on “Give Me This Mountain” from Numbers 13:30-31, 14:6-9, 24 and Joshua 14:4-14.  Caleb asked for the mountain and Joshua gave him Hebron.  Hebron is one of the oldest cities in the Bible. Pessimistic people will drag you down if you let them. We serve a mighty God. Joshua and Caleb wholly followed the Lord. Caleb saw God high, all powerful and with Him on his side he would prevail against the giants. Caleb did not look on the giants he looked to the power of God. The inheritance God has given us is salvation. It is incorruptible, undefiled and eternal.

Bro. Lonni Wickard preached the afternoon message on “Ordinary Greatness” from Matt 4:18-22 & 28:19-20, God calls and uses ordinary people and we each have a place to serve our Lord. Make yourself available. People that have wealth & power often become self sufficient and it becomes difficult for God to use them. Jesus wants us all to be fishers of men. God is looking for willing workers. You are unique, therefore there are people you can touch that no one else can.
