Philippians 4:15-19 15Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only. 16For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity. 17Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account. 18But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God. 19But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

God takes note of your giving as Paul praised the Philippians so God blesses you for your faithfulness. Your support to the Missions is greatly appreciated. Editor.

PHILIPPINES

January 5, 2006

Dear Bro. Rexroth & Saints,

Christian greetings and a prosperous Happy New Year 2006 to all of our dear beloved supporters in U. S. of the Philippine Mission. The year 2005 has passed another year has come to remind us of our personal responsibilities in the Kingdom of God.

The year 2005 is a memorable one because we’ve built a nice chapel in San Miguel, Surigao Del Sur and was able to renovate our first Tabernacle at Bannawag our mother church in the Philippine Mission. In addition to the church renovation we’re also able to prepare our old Pastor’s Training School wherein we transfer our God’s Bible College Seminary from Davao City to Bannawag for important reason. It is much cheaper here than in the city. Our enrolment  was 14, 8 boys & 6 girls. Praise God.

This precious people who answered the call are praying much that they’ll be included in the adoption program of Bro. Yoder & Bro. Rexroth by those more privilege children of God in U. S. Church of God to help them in their food in the kitchen. At present the Pastor of Bannawag & congregation are the one feeding them.  Editor’s Note: Actually three students have been adopted and have been supported since October by saints in the U. S.

Thank God our two district Youth Convention, Mindanao & Luzon district was very successful that encourage our hearts. There were 40 young people and adult that receive the ordinance of water baptism. Trust our national secretary, Sis. Noemi Esteban, has already sent you our Journal for you to read the whole coverage of that 2005 youth gathering.

In closing we are praying much and appealing to the depths of your heart to please continue remembering us in the Philippine work of the Lord because without your aid and support we can do just few things, but if we work together we can do more for Him. Please remember that the workers are increasing in the Philippine Mission and more love because of the good result of our Pastoral Training School.

Regards & Love to all our dear supporters.

            Yours For His Cause,

            Bro. & Sis. D. B. Luzan Jr.

February 02, 2006

 Dear Father and Mother Wood,

Precious greetings in the gracious name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Just now I came back from Temple city. Praise God the Lord's work had done successfully at Gandhi puramalias G.D Puram. I most humbly and sincerely submit the report of Gandhi Puram. The church dedication program is held with many blessings. The Lord's work has been done in this village since 2002.The local Pastor Eliezer is doing the Lord's ministry from four years onwards. He established a small congregation and conducted Sunday services there in a church elder's house approximately Twenty Five saints has been gathering for on every Sunday. Pastor Eliezer is from Pentecost back ground recently he was differed with the leaders of Pentecost Mission and doing the Lord's service independently when the help was stopped to him from the Mission, he is desperately searching for the helping hands. Meanwhile in an occasion pastor Martin met him. He told his total story to Martin and asked him about the Fellowship of the church of God. Then Pastor Martin vow to him to help. He is also willing to come out completely from the Past mission. After passed all these things the elders of the congregation Bro. Noah and John Wesly and Pastor Eliezer had discussed with pastor Martin for a church building. But the problem is a place for the church. Up till now they gathered in the elder John Wesly's house who is working in Telephone department. Now Bro. John Wesley he himself enthusiastically came forward and accepted to laid a temporary shed in his relatives place for conducting Sunday services. Pastor Martin, pastor Eliezer and elders gathered together to build the shed and completed within one month, Praise the Lord it is a good ministry to support them.

Pastor in Gandhi Puram is very poor; they are young couple had two children. They are suffering even for their daily bread. He asked me to pray for him and family. They came from other state (KARNATAKA STATE, This is also my mother Lalithamma’s Native place) to Temple City. This is not Pastor Martin's own ministry, but it is appreciable to invite him into the CHURCH OF GOD.

Pastor Premnath is participated and shared the Message, Dr. B. Jaya Raj, Bro Jay Rao and Bobby preached the Word of God. Bro. Chakravarthy had done the ending prayer. Pastor Paul form K.M.Nagar participated in the program Sister Linda prepared delicious dishes to all the attendants. There was a good gathering. I humbly request to remember in your prayers for Pastor Eliezer and family. I am accountable to God for this report of Gandhi Puram ministry.

            Your servant,

             Bobby

YOUTH CORNER

It is that time again to see what is going on in the youth corner. You know at this time of year, there is one word that kind of surrounds this month of February.

Can you guess what it is? I’ll give you a hint, it’s not groundhog. Have you guessed it yet? Go ahead, phone a friend if you have to, I’ll wait. . . . . . . . . .

Okay, I need your final answer. The word is LOVE

Many of the world is focusing on love, well what they think is love. You know so many people have a really weird idea of love. Some people throw that word around like it means nothing. I knew a young lady who “loved” everything. She loved her new purse, she loved your new hairstyle, she loved her shoes, she loved her parents and she loved the Lord, but she used the word so much, that I think she forgot what it meant. She would even say, that she just loved something to death. That is a really strong statement. To love something so much that you would be willing to die for it, that is a bold statement. It really makes me realize what Christ did for us on the cross. He really loved us to death. What a sobering thought, He died for us.

Power Verse: 1 John 4:10 “ Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”

            Power Surge: 1 Corinthians 13

If you have anything your youth group is doing to spread the love of God, please let me know so we can put it in the corner. Well that’s about it, for now, take care and remember to serve the Lord with all you got!
