Psalm 41:1                Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.
The needs on our mission fields are overwhelming; there is no way that we can meet them all, however, we can get direction from God to do our part. Following is a portion of an email I recently received:
"Our church in the past did not send support to the various missions because I felt that we were a mission effort ourselves starting as a small church with no outside help in a rented facility. I did pray each day for the mission work going on around the world.
Late last year I was praying for the missions one morning and the Holy Spirit spoke to me and gave me a thought "if all of the other churches supported the missions at the same level that your church is supporting the missions, how would the mission work be doing?"
After that I told the church about my praying for the missions and the thought that was given me. We met with the trustees and decided to support a different mission field each quarter." By Pastor Steve Bock

September 7, 2006
Dear saints of Community church of God and King’s crossing community church of God and all the saints of W.M.F,
Precious greetings and hearty thanks in Jesus Savior’s name!
We are told that in the Bible to bear one another’s burdens. “ Bear Ye another’s burden’s, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” In the life of man is seen the same struggle from the cradle to the grave. The fetus in the mother’s womb grows by struggling with adverse condition.
In the days of Jacob, when Jacob was in the trouble and there was none to help, the God had bore all his burdens. Now the same God said, “bear ye one another’s burdens.” every man can bear most of his own burden, but the burdens in the Gospel ministry, need to lend a hand of every worker of good.
Pain and suffering born of this struggle permeate life, and rightly has Francis Thomson said, “ we are born in other’s pain and ……… “ The fellowship of the church of God” was born in pains of father and Mother Wood and saints in America. It was established in the time of curse had alighted on the entire ministry of Church of God in T. P. Gudur. There was no movement, progress in the ministry activities, only stagnation and disintegration in spiritual activities. In this dark period, the Light was sprung up.
In the beginning of the ministry there was raised an antagonism to buried the new hope of church of God, but every time the church of God saints in America encouraged us by their supporting hands. They made a hedge around the ministry by prayers and supporting help. And the sacred missionaries visited personally and strengthen the church of God in India. These things wield a tremendous influence to break down barriers. Like this, they bear all our burdens.
India is a vast country – a subcontinent with a medley of colorful people, languages, cultures, traditions and customs. It is a great challenge and too difficulty to take good tidings to the unsaved millions. Preaching the gospel and keeping the church of God is two major challenges before the Fellowship of the church of God to go successfully in the ministry.
The co-operation and managerial abilities exhibited by the noble missionaries, Father and Mother Wood in the renovation of church of God and strengthened the congregations are uplift the ministry in India. As they are sharing and pouring out the feelings to us in the Lord is a strong support for our discouraged hearts.
The commitment of the saints in America and personal involvement of noble missionaries in all construction works and Gospel works could be maintained highest standards in execution of the works are remarkable. Simultaneously the boundaries are extended by the fellowship of the church of God and the ministry is growing with inspiring growth. It is very glad to note that more than 18 works had been completed under Fellowship of the church of God in Nellore district and Temple city and helping to 33 pastors for every month.
As Fe completes Four years as a growing organization and embarks on its 5th year, we commenced 31st Pastors meeting on 2nd Sep 2006.The Pastors are praising of the development that Fe undergone is unbelievable .It is always a center for spirituality, faithfulness and humbleness since the olden days. Think one of the major landmarks that changed the face of the Nellore district forever was their loving ministries. We preaches to the world what they require the most, salvation and Holy life. That is the biggest aim that Fe can be proud of. The Church of God Missionaries in America has had a major role to play in the ministry. The Pastors of the Fe have been closely associated with missionaries who fight for the development of India mission. By all the great efforts of Father and Mother Wood and saints the ministry would began to developed, bear fruits, and conformed by clear and definite results. The doors were divinely opened by God to go forward in the ministry.
In the 31st Pastors meeting on behalf of Father Wood, Pastor Bobby shared the Message about the “Characteristics of the Church of God”
Praise the Lord, all His works …” Psalm 102:22. 1. For the noble missionaries from America who had done great works in India in the Month of July 19th – 28th 2006. 2. for the new souls who became members of Church of God. 3. For the new Chapels in T. P. Gudur, Pinapuram, Vavilla and C. Mallavaram dedicated by Father and Mother Wood, Pastor Gary Williams and Pastor Allen Fletcher. 4. For the Harold English medium school building dedicated by Mother Wood. 5. For the good team of Faithful Pastors in Fellowship of the church of God and its’ branches.
Please pray for: The noble missionary team that who will visit India in Feb 2007, New Chapels to be constructed in target villages, The faithful partners and donors who support this ministry with their prayers and donations, For purchase of an abandon Theatre in front of Lt. Col. W. M. Webb memorial mission house, For the 60 new souls.
We praise God for His great plans and salvation to the World.
                Your servant,
                 Bobby.

                YOUTH CORNER

As we visit the corner this time, I must confess to you I have been a little worried. Some of you know that I was supposed to leave for a 6th month mission trip to Spain in August and it is now September I have not left yet. I wonder when I am going and if I am ever going to get enough money to go, but God knows what He is doing and He reminded me of this verse:
POWER VERSE:
Philippians 4:6-7 "Do not worry about anything, but pray and ask God for everything you need, always giving thanks. And God's peace, which is so great we cannot understand it, will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus ...
What an order! Do not worry about anything? How can that be, when things turn upside down in our lives like our grades in school go down the tubes or we get laid off from work, or our boyfriend or girlfriend breaks up with us, or there is trouble in our families. There is probably always something going on that in the natural could keep us topsy turvy. But God says in His Word that if we turn everything over to Him by praying and give Him thanks then His peace will keep our hearts and minds steady. God knew that with this world also comes trouble and His children needed to have something they could count on in the midst of their troubles. What a testimony to others when you are in the middle of troubles to still have your joy and peace and give non Christians something to wonder about. Now that is cool! I know God is in this and that I will go when it is time. So in the words of Timon and Pumba from the Lion King movies – “Hakuna Matata” –No worries.

REVIVAL REPORT

We were privileged to attend one night of revival at Community Church of God in Dunn Loring, VA on September 12. Evangelist Bro. George Wilson preached “From The Bustle to The Cross” from Isaiah 26:20, Matt 6:6, Exodus 34:34-35, Jer 32:17, Eph 5:17-18, 1 John 1:3-4, Gen 18:14 & Acts 1:8.
He told us that many trying to live Christian lives today are too busy to take the time necessary for a relationship with God. God is the key to everything. You must have in your life time to pray; You must give God time. Go into the closet and shut the door! The real you is what you are when you are alone with God. To walk with God you live in the realm of impossibility. With God all things are possible – Born again- Saved – impossible with man.
